Gandalf has guyliner.

It's *free* through Netflix games, which means this game will have a mobile version.Maybe some people will add it to their libraries when it's free on Epic Store
This isn't made for the primary GAF audience, so at most people here will simply make fun of it and move along.

It's a pretty good idea, whether or not the studio will execute who knows. There's a new "genre" of games aimed for people who like a more "cozy" gaming experience, popular examples of games that would fit under that genre are animal crossing, star dew valley and harvest moon and the sims but there a bunch more lately in the indie scene: If they are going to make a cozy life sim game based on an IP, the hobbits of LOTR is a pretty fitting choice.just remember, not only did someone think in their head to make this, someone else greenlit it saying it's a good idea![]()
Why does she have hair on his feet?
Not to mention Tolkien Estate sold the rights to make this.just remember, not only did someone think in their head to make this, someone else greenlit it saying it's a good idea![]()
It's a good idea for a game IMO, regardless of who it's targeted at. I know my daughters would absolutely love it after I introduced them to Story of Seasons.just remember, not only did someone think in their head to make this, someone else greenlit it saying it's a good idea![]()
Imagine if Sharkey (Saruman) comes towards the middle part of the game and trashes everything you worked on until then and the game turns into an industrial/police state simulation instead. I'd buy that.Am I the only one who hopes that the town burns down in the game?

It's just the unfortunate result of the Tolkien estate whoring out the IP to anyone and everyone. There seems to be no consideration to nurture it.Is there some secret competition where everyone making a game based on the LOTR IP is trying to see who cane make the absolutely ugliest looking game?
ding ding dingI cant believe this is from Weta ... let me guess ... some guy or girl with purple hair is probably the creative director

Nothing lasts forever. I've been speculating that 2024 will be the turning point but who knows.I wonder how many more games need to bomb before this stops being a thing.
At some point the industry has to course-correct, no?
Danger hair alert!!!!!ding ding ding
