Team Fiesta to be kept in matchmaking? Please help stop this!

I love Fiesta! It's a lot of fun. I guess it might cause consternation for people who are obsessed with their rankings in an unhealthy fashion, but for most I think that the rare Fiesta game is a breath of fresh air. It's playing for the sake of having fun.

If anything, they should restrict it to the slayer games and training games, but I'm fine with it whereever.

Playing to have fun?! What a novel concept!

that's not why people play the ladder, damnit!

seriously, I do think people take their rankings too seriously, but I can understand why they wouldn't want this gametype.

Rankings are ruining online games. It's nice to be able to gauge your performance but most people are playing just to increase their rankings by any means necessary (including cheating). It sucks

I've said before and I'll say it again.

Have a reputation ranking!! If somoene is known as a consistent cheater then you'll know it from their reputation. Bungie is kind of taking this into consideration with suspending people's accounts on Live, but I still think that something more sophisticated and lasting is required.

Fiesta is stupid.'

it's crappy when your team spawns with just magnums and needlers the entire game while the other team spawns with snipers, swords and rockets all game.

we played team fiesta the other day, and the only weapons on the map were sentinel beams.
it was hilarious. some ghostbuster shit everywhere.

Team Fiesta is a n00b gametype.
But so are almost all of Bungie's shitty, shitty matchmaking, SMG start, radar on gametypes. I understand the desire to keep it n00b so that when new people start playing Halo 2 it's easy for them to get into. God, I hate matchmaking.

2-2, red team wins the round!
