I love my 7800x3d. What happened to Intel? Did all their good engineers leave? When I first got majorly into PC gaming, it was unthinkable to go amd over Intel.
 
Only CPU I could upgrade to, would be 5800X3D... but damn it is overpriced.

New condition "sold" listings on eBay are $450... which is the same prices as a 9800X3D. Guess buy the best CPU at the end of a mobo lifespan, and be set.

5800x3d should be around $270-300 but I guess demand for them is high on 2nd hand market

Someone here pointed this gem a few days ago and I have to say that it's probably the best pick for budget builds out there

It would be really interesting to have an APU with stacked cache, also extremely expensive. It'd also double as infinity cache for the gpu portion and be much larger due to the larger die size. It'll never happen due to the cost through
