The music in this game rocks... I want it. Anyone know if there was a soundtrack?

Unfortunately there is no soundtrack, there are no plans to release one, and as far as I've found there is no good way to rip the music from the game itself. Many of the songs (pretty much every non-Namco song) are available on the soundtrack for its prequel, Technictix, which can be found here: http://www.cocoebiz.com/catalog.php?id=194

Hope that helps at least a little bit, though you know as well as I that the Namco tunes are the main attraction. For what it's worth, I feel your pain. I've been wishing for either a soundtrack or a way to record its awesome music for years now.

Yeah, I guess besides learning to play it really, really well and just shoving the audio line out into your PC, there'd be no way to record the Technic Beat tracks. Which is how I recorded a song off the Korean Gitaroo-Man, minus the "learn to play it really, really well" part

Sampling Masters, who did much of the original music in the game, have released four self-titled CDs. Worth checking out.
