Come on dude. Take your fedora off.

Also, the confused reactions about Miss America speaking about education makes me laugh. Dull-witted girls don't usually win these sorts of competitions.

He's asking what your problem with her is.

For fucks sake, can people not read? I'll quote myself from the first page:

And there is my sarcasm biting me on the arse. Seems she is pretty switched on.

She would be a great role model without winning Miss America, it adds nothing to her worth as a role model.

Can you read that? I have no problem with her. I am starting to have a problem with people who can't fucking read.

I'm surprised this little shitstain didn't get a jail sentence, community service and a sex offender record.

I swear, if this happened it wouldn't surprise me. America you is scary.

School Administrations really need to collectively pull their heads out of their asses. Shit is getting to the point of absurdity.
heh I remember high school, if we weren't threatened with ISS around 20 of us would have gone up and asked her a bunch of funny/embarrassing/trolling questions like her sign, asking her out for coffee, what her first kiss was like, what color her panties were..

*shrug*

I'm not proud of it now, but I do remember being young and bored. We would have disrupted the hell out of a talk like that.

What a joke. But yeah, like some said he was warned I guess...unfortunate.

I'm more interested about "Davuluri was at the school to talk with students about diversity and the importance of science, technology, engineering and math studies."

Not questioning her intelligence or anything, I'm sure she is smarter than me, but this sounds like a task for a famous Professor with huge Academic Achievements not Miss America

Take a peek at the last page.

But now you guys who didn't know before are basically aware of what a Miss *State*/Miss America does all year. She goes on parades, she promotes the Children's Miracle Network, and she does work in support of her pet cause, her platform, either in her state or nation wide with the support of pageant organization.

She's not in the Miss USA system; she's not a model. She won't be in a bikini for most of the year. She won't be going on go sees.

Come on dude. Take your fedora off.

Can we see a picture of yourself? I'd like to judge your physical appearance.

Not really into her.

Also, this whole Miss America thing sounds like a terrible deal. $50k scholarship after busting your ass to win your local+regional+state pageants for a year, and after winning the big prize you have to go to a different city every two days for a year for speaking engagements too?

You'll win a scholarship at every level, but that is what it is. Before you even apply for one of those things, you have to be incredibly passionate about the cause you'll be diligently supporting for a year and you have to love the idea of meeting new people every single day.

Do you work for them? You seem pretty passionate about it.

Edit: If you do can you tell them they need to stop having a swimsuit section if they want their winners to be taken seriously?

Edit2: That first part is a serious question, not an accusation or insult.

A friend of mine did pagentry for a while and the money isn't much of a motivator for most people that do it.

I seem package about every random thing I know a lot about. That's just my personality.
