I can't believe I completely missed out on the fact that the FBI guy is Scott's dad. That's what I get for watching an episode while simultaneously browsing the internet.

Also, I now know what those shadow ninjas remind me of: The bunny from Donnie Darko.

We've know this since the last season finale... XD

I'm only in it for the shirtless rave action. Otherwise I only pay attention 50% of the time.

For shame

Oh, you know what: Stiles is crazy enough now, let's give him an imaginary friend named Frank.

This needs the caption [Thinks about Scott]

Solid episode.

Was so excited for a Teen Wolf Brawl, but these masked guys seem overpowered for now.

Stiles: "My writing looks nothing like the writing that's on the chalkboard. OMG, it was me!"

What?

I guess you guys have never taken an interest in handwriting comparison/analysis? I'll break it down for you.

1 - Stiles' 1 ends with a sweep to the left, the other ends with a sweep to the right. In fact, Lydia's vertical line in the letter K looks more like the original that Stiles'
9 - Stiles' 9 is open and ends with a sweep to the left just like his 1, the other is closed and ends with a sweep to the right just like the 1
5 - Stiles' vertical is long and his horizontal and loop are both short, the original is completely opposite (short vertical, long horizontal and loop)
3 - Stiles' 3 goes up on the right while the original stays flat
8 - Stiles' 8 goes up on the right just like his 3 while the original stays flat. The two 8's overlap while the original doesn't. The bottoms look nothing alike either

If you want to say that they start and stop at the same place then I can introduce you to every classmate I went to elementary school with because we were all taught to write in the exact same way.

If Stiles thought he was dreaming/possessed I could buy it but when he comes to that conclusion after writing the same numbers next to the original set and them looking nothing alike it's stupid. Stiles isn't stupid.

Don't worry, I'm not taking it that seriously. I'm just messing around. :)

I do not see what you see Fuzzy. They look stylistically almost exactly the same to me, and I'm pretty positive that Dylan himself wrote both sets.

And in the end, all that mattes is that Stiles is actually an insane psychopath. I thing we can all agree on that.

I do not see what you see Fuzzy, at all. They look stylistically almost exactly the same to me, and I'm pretty positive that Dylan himself wrote both sets.
Even after I pointed out exactly how they're different? I guess it's true, facts don't mean shit. :P

It wouldn't surprise me if he did write both, just saying he should've at least tried to match the other set more closely for it to make sense. I can write numbers next to other numbers and not think I wrote them both unless they looked a lot closer than what he did. Yes he had a key to that room show up on his ring but it could've also been put there by someone else. It's not like he also had the phosphorescence substance on his hands to make him think he used the key before.

They look different, but still stylistically the same. I think it's quite apparent.

You pointed out the differences in the numbers themselves, but that doesn't discount the fact that they look like they've been written by the same person, which they have. You could take random samples of almost anyone's writing and see differences in the shape of the characters but still be able to tell they were written by the same person. Stiles wrote the numbers again and compared the styles, they matched, he freaked. There's no point in him trying to replicate the shape of the characters exactly, anyone could do that. (Really, he shouldn't of had to do anything but look at them, but that wouldn't of had the same visual impact.)

I think the scene accomplished what it set out to do, with the side effect of internet debates about handwriting cohesion.

It doesn't matter if you think they look different (or not) because within the actual show it is presented as being the same. That's all that should matter.

I'm now wondering if Kira's dad is either one of the Mortal Kombat demons or if he is the Shang Tsung of the Mortal Kombat demons. Or maybe there will be a twist and he'll be the Kung Lao of the Mortal Kombat demons.

But the thing with handwriting is that you never write absolutely identical every time. There's always a slight difference but style wise it's the same. What Stiles wrote, looks like the same person wrote both sets of numbers.

No matter, the show clearly is saying that Stiles wrote both. :P

I just remembered, didn't Jeffrey said something about Ethan and Danny's relationship ending badly? It's probably going to be something Danny finding out about everything and going into denial mode. Danny was so close last episode :(

I do not understand what is happening right now.

That woman is doing that thing that you do when a chick with tigole bitties bobbing about in a tight sweater comes jiggling up to you and you gotta pretend like you're not a fucking caveman inside your civilized exterior.

This season has been firing on all cylinders. I love how they're exploring other lore and incorporating it into different characters. Would have gotten old real fast if it was all wolves, all the time.

How is Crystal Reed so stupid pretty?

Also, does her character ever get not retarded? Just saw up to the first episode of season 3 and I hate her forever for "breaking up" with Scott.

"Thanks Mom"

This season has been excellent so far. Hopefully it keeps the momentum. Also I love it when a show answers questions quickly.

So Stiles is possessed by the Void Kitsune eh? I wonder when that happened. Probably related to his mom...?

Wolf Watch just said that Agent McCall was dead, but I don't think that's true. (And now they just said he wasn't.)

Stiles pls.

edit:
Oh god why is Karmin on Wolfwatch? For that matter, why am I watching Wolfwatch? These are the questions, folks.

That was an excellent episode. Got to watch the episode.

Ok, first of all... Whoooooaaaaaa what the fuck at the ending!

The twins are growing on me. I was loling at the beginning with them.

No Lydia. Booooooooooo.

Isaac getting some action and then becoming a baller was awesome.

I've just realized that Tyler Posey has a weirdly asymmetrical face.

Scott's dad is so shady! What's he hiding from Scott?

Yakuza! Never thought I'd see them in Teen Wolf.

Hey! That bodyguard werewolf played Chayton in Banshee last couple of weeks. He's got presence.

So Stiles mom died from what he has? Also, "thanks mom" right in the heart.

From the AVclub review:

This episode was directed by Jennifer Lynch, real-life daughter of David Lynch and director of such films as the critically mauled Boxing Helena and the twisted, sun-baked noir Surveillance. Her presence behind the camera here may be felt most strongly when Isaac complains that he looks ridiculous dressed in a suit to distract the Japanese gangster’s security entourage, and Allison gives him a pep talk; “You’re not a boy! You walk in there acting like man,” she says, while stuffing the tail of his white shirt deep into his pants, and then adds, “Go in there with confidence, and all they’ll see is a boyish-looking man,” while guiding his hands to cup her behind. Would a male director have staged the scene like that? I’m not sure that a male director who had the nerve to stage that scene should be allowed to walk around unchaperoned.

When Stiles called Scott's mum mum my heart broke into little pieces

If he is the Dark Kitsune though, how comes the previous one didn't defend himself more? Stiles made it look pretty easy to kill the demons

I presume the new girl (I can't remember her name) is a fire Kitsune. Given that her mother mentioned they come from a reputable family line I'm also guessing the Kitsune stuff is a fundamental part of their lineage.
