The next batch of characters was just released in Japan. They are:

Kuma
Bruce Irvin
Wang Jinrey

I'm so glad that Wang is back. The guy has to be like 110 now but I don't care. He's awesome. He's probably my favorite character in the entire series. Pics should be hitting the net shortly. I'll post them when they are available unless someone beats me to it.

Tekken 5 is really shaping up to be the best game in the series yet.

Just about how many characters are on the roster now for Tekken 5?

With these 3 it brings the total up to 26. Rumor has it that the last 4 TRCs will be a sumo guy (not necessarily Ganryu), Heihachi, Mokujin, and Devil Jin (which is basically T3/TTT style Jin with more moves). So basically when all is said and done there will be 29 unique characters plus 1 mimic character. Also you can unlock Eddy Gordo as a swap for Christie if you use the data cards. It isn't clear yet as to whether or not you can select Panda as an alternate costume for Kuma. My guess is that she can be unlocked like Eddy...via the data cards.

The last boss (Jinpachi) probably won't be released though because he's so cheap... but Namco might add him into the home version b/c they said they would add more characters (Miharu is probably a safe bet also).

Also, early reports indicate that Bruce is no longer overpowered like he was in TTT.
