The only possible ingame shot isn't very impressive, guess K2 will continue developing the franchise, even though From holds the license now.

Actually those indoor stages look ok to me, so I don't know where some of the sarcasm is coming from. And yeah it's all about straight lines, 90 angles, simplicity and general 'cleaness' in traditional japanese houses :D

When are people going to stop acting like "good" means "next gen"? Next gen should be making us go :O

It looks fine for a Tenchu title and adds a needed coat of polish. Certainly not "next-gen"...

cool didn't know this was coming to 360. I don't care so much about the graphics, they need to concentrate on getting the gameplay right for this series. The last two outings left much to be desired (for me.)

Oh, and I KNOW these are different teams, but it's so odd to see something like AC4 (which blows away EVERYTHING yet shown on the XBOX360) coming from the same company as this (which looks even less detailed than something like Chaos Theory on XBOX).

Going from Ninja Gaiden to Tenchu 3 was almost impossible for me.
I know, the exact same happened to me as well. I've played through some of the other Tenchu games before hand and it didn't bother me as much.

Unfortunately, the last Techu game I played was Return from Darkness and that was right after playing though multiple games of NG. :/

something isn't right here.

in a way, this is almost starting to remind me of the days of PSone to Dreamcast ports.

I think it's a bit worse actually. I remember how amazing the Dreamcast version of THPS2 looked compared to the ps1 version. But with some of these xbox 360 games, you have to really reach to tell what makes these games next-gen.

I like the indoor shots but the character looks horrible. Where are the cloth physics? Must we suffer with drawn on wrinkles for another 5 years?!?! :lol

I know Tenchu has never been a graphical showcase, but fuck that is disgusting for "next-gen." Well, it's a good thing the last few Tenchu games have been weak. I can just be skeptical about it until it delivers.

Wait, has Tenchu ever really looked good?

Come on, Tenchu Fatal Shadows looked pretty nice. You guys that hated Wrath of Heaven should really try Fatal Shadows, BTW, it IS a nice improvement. The PSP Tenchu game is also really well done, despite the PSX-level pop-up.

Yeah, I recently played Fatal Shadows (my first Tenchu game) and was very impressed by the graphics.

Bingo...Tenchu's always looked like shit. This is basically par for the course, which doesn't mean the game won't be worth playing.

The first Tenchu was pretty damn sharp looking in early 1998, or so I thought, at least. Then again, Tenchu: Stealth Assassins was so drenched in atmosphere that any graphics blemishes were forgiven by me. However without that atmosphere Tenchu blows, as it has generally since the 3rd installment.

The outdoor shots here look like they could be done on the PS2, and the foliage is still in 2D? Come on.
