There's a level of craftsmanship needed to nail a beat em up. It's a simple genre but it has to have a good feel. Needs to be satisfying. They also need interesting movesets which this apparently lacks.

The pixel art looks… fine I guess, at a glance,

As soon as I saw the gameplay in motion I could tell it was bad. Screams quick cash grab to capitalize on the IP.
