What do you find to be "pro liberal bs" about Twitter censoring/deboosting tweets with links? Everyone has complained about that. It makes it harder to verify information, which seems to be the point.

It's hard to tell if he is being satirical or serious in some of his tweets. 🤔

Yes, a lot of his commentary on twitter is trolling. The one about the VA clinical trials is not though. Rather than looking at his post history and trying to figure out what's going on there you could just look at the NY Times article being quoted:

It’s not an X thing. ALL social media is suppressing first posts with links (well except BluCry but they’re retards) to stop outlets from farming traffic off the site. Meta is worse. People just add the link to a reply now or in the bio. It started before Elon bought Twitter and they copied it from Meta.

It's especially bad for Twitter since Twitter is the main news aggregator. The whole information pipeline is compromised now. Anonymous accounts post sourceless information, instead of verified people posting sourced information.

That’s why I spent time every day boosting community notes.

Or is it just one of Phil's balls in my throat?
Musk unwittingly handed the world's EV market to the Chinese

China is already running away with it.

Toyota launched a $15K SUV in China.

I can only dream of something like this in the US right now.

I feel like that in order to hit that $15k price point they instiuted microtransactions, like you gotta pay $200 per "start engine token" and $5 per foot of braking :p

Well that's worthless.

The guy is a pathological liar. If you don't want to believe a lefty, just read the NYT article
NYT is left, and was pushing propaganda harder than NPR. I think only wapo started turning around after firing a bunch of staff. And didn't that FAA thing get a correction? None were fired

I'll have to investigate this further if NYT is the source. Out of everything we've been through, I don't think parroting these types of places is a good idea, but random X posts aren't too good either. Perhaps we can come to some kind of consensus or have a poll on what sources people find reputable. Does Ground News balance things out?

Tesla’s stock price isn’t plunging this deeply because a handful of Teslas have been burnt or vandalized. It’s because a whole bunch of folks who are his usual target market are fed up with his BS.

Dude is giggling around and firing people left, right and center, actively screwing up decades of US investment in soft power, insulting western allies, shilling for Russia and working overtime to prop up Nazi candidates in elections in Europe.

Tesla has alienated large markets for them (Europe, Canada, China, half of the USA), and they are being further dominated in China by other EV brands. I’m curious to see how what the sales numbers look like next quarter. If they are even more dire then I simply can’t see how the stock survives.

JPMorgan just dropped this gem:

“We struggle to think of anything analogous in the history of the automotive industry, in which a brand has lost so much value so quickly,”
