It was as expected.
Seeing gen Z characters in an R-rated film really made me feel my age haha.
The 'sourthern whites are racist' trope was so lame too smh.
The film didn't really hold much tension throughtout, but some of the deaths were pretty visceral. More of a one & done affair for me.
The canceling / social media scene is so tonally jarring, I couldnt stop laughing during it.
The black guy? He held his hand (initiated it, too) and tried to take care of him as he died. The only one you could say was racist was the old lady but even THEN I think that's stretching it. She had old sensibilities and didn't know you say no longer say "negroes". But she was hospitable towards him. He overreacted and that caused her to be a bit mean to him.
It could just be one or 100 locals for all I care, still doens't make the use of the trope any less lame and triteThat was literally only one character from the town. The dude was more of a towny. Remember after he found
Seen the leaks. It wants to be Halloween 2018 but it's not earned, Zoomers get savaged by Leatherface and it has a heavy anti gun rhetoric.
Will it be good? No. But it'll still be fun trash.
I expected it to suck heavily and was quite surprised that it didn't suck that much. Actually I found it kind of entertaining.
What I can't accept though is how some of you talk about Rob Zombie.

I'm not going to lie, i actually quite liked it. Not only was it super gory, but seeing a bunch of millenial SJW's getting sliced and diced was very satisfying.
I mean people seem to be judging this as 'woke' but to me it seemed the producers were taking the piss out of SJW's more than anything.
Bruh, it's not even up for debate when it comes to Halloween.
Zombie: I fully respect Carpenter's vision. Having said that, fuck not exploring Michael's motivation even if that's how Carpenter wanted it!
Fans: Wait, what?!
Zombie: Yeah, Michael went psycho because people were mean to him, and only his mom tried to look out for him.
Fans: That just alters him into Jason Voorhees 2.0
Zombie: …no, no, err, well I'll get more original with my sequel! Ooh, I know, I'll make Laurie and Loomis completely unlikable! That's never been done before!
Fans: There's probably a reason that's never been done before.
Zombie: Bah, what do you know. I'm sure my two films will be looked back at fondly and not so despised that people scream in joy when Jamie Lee Curtis returns to try to restore this series' good name.
