Yeah some of these are actually quite good deals-that Crysis pack is fantastic, and that's the lowest price I've seen for HoI3 yet (and it's a good game, not great yet, but better now than it was at release).

One point to make about HoMMV: Tribes of the East - You can download the campaign maps and files for both the original and the expansion . All races are playable, so if you want to have the full HoMMV experience (and it's a good one, IMO) , TotE is all you need. And that's a great price for it.

Another shoutout to the very inexpensive Tank Universal over on Impulse. This is a pretty darn fun game and is actually a game, and not some indie style of substance nonsense. I bought it last year in the Steam sale and had a good time with it.

HoI3 is great, my main problem is that this is the one time of year where I rarely pull up with a huge strategy game. Fall/early Winter is my FPS/RPG time of year for some reason.

Oh, and I think Light of Altair is just $7.50 at gamersgate. I had a lot of fun with that one too-it's also am indie production that's a real game ( sorta bitter about spending $2 on Osmos earlier) , and while straightforward to play it's good about giving you lots of strategic decisions to make. It doesn't quite make the A-list but I spent a good 30 or so hours playing it earlier this year when it came out.

Be sure that the Steam .exe's work with mods, sometimes they don't.

Also, I wonder if you can use your serial on GG witth a Steam game and download that guy like you could Mount and Blade. Has anyone tried that?
