For those of you that celebrate Thanksgiving, have you ever had Thanksgiving spent with non-family?
I live alone and usually return home to spend the day with just my immediate family. We fly out to spend the holiday with extended family once or twice a decade, I'd say. This year, though, my family (who besides me is heavily invested in a church) decided to invite over their pastor and his family. I'm open-minded about spending the day with them, but I'm curious if many other people have this day with people outside their family.
