The 10-Minute Batman Begins preview. And to a lesser extend, Smallville finale.

So, anyone catch the incredible 10 minute preview of Batman Begins at the end of the Smallville season finale yesterday? Looking good. I especially liked how Bats reacted to being shot with the stun gun. As for Smallville itself. Eh, it was above the season average of crap but certainly not the show's shining moment. Too many things unresolved and no
fortress of solitude
yet. Damn them.

Yeah, I caught it. It was an awesome preview.

The only real problem I have with it is Bale's Batman voice, I guess I'm just so use to Conroy's voice that is throws me off.

Also, I found it terrific that in a 10 minute preview they were still able to keep it pretty basic on plot and spoilers.

Well, that's what you get with a typical cliffhanger season finale :p. I didn't think it was too bad. The
big meteor shower, especially the helicopter part,
was pretty neat to watch, even if the cg wasn't that great in parts. I kinda figured that
Jason had survived. You KNOW that whenever a character is shot and falls offscreen without a body being recovered, they're going to pop up sometime in the next couple episodes.

I enjoyed the preview a lot. My only complaint is that the kid playing young Bruce Wayne didn't seem to be that convincing. I actually even liked a couple of the one liners that they threw in: "Does it come in black?" :lol

The preview was great and Smallville wasn't bad either.

Nah, it wasn't that bad. I think I'm just pissy because the Astros lost a close game last night. :D

the preview looked fucking awesome. And i tuned in JUST in time, so i didn't have to watch any of that piece of shit Smallville show either! double +1 for me!

The preview was incredible, right from beginning to end. I got chills though with the opening as the new DC logo appears with the low percussion of the score in the background and then that great shot of Batman:

Speaking of the score, I'm quite happy with what I heard. :)

Yesterday's Smallville was alright. "Great" if you compare it to the rest of the season.

Though when the Meteors started falling, and Clark and Chloe were leaving, I thought that Welling would do an awesome job of Clark when he's all grown up. Plus in the beginning in his dream he had a good Superman mullet.

Okay, I thought everything looked good up until Batman spoke. :lol To get to the point, I don't like the deep-voice. Bale shoulda just talked normal as Batman.

Yeah, i caught the 10 mins of Batty! It was kewl! His voice what really throws me off but he did a good job playing Batman.

The only problem i have with his mask is his nose. Too damn pointy!!! And the batcar, i'm not so sure of that. I'm gonna reserve the judgement about the car when i see the movie.

I just watched the 10 minute preview. Man, this is going to be one bitchingly sweet film.

I think the deep voice for Batman is going to work well. It'll reinforce the idea that he's putting himself in another mindset and that his goal is to strike fear. I like it.

First - the Smallville ending sucked ass. Liked how Lana showed her real emotion and love for Clark.

Batman Begins's trailer was simply breath taking. Finally, a good mature Batman. Bale really understands Batman. And I like how he goes through all the training with that guy learning ninjitsu and other martial arts. I am more hyped for this movie than Star Wars.
