If we're talking problems, the first is a man intentionally deceiving another man by pretending he's a woman and the logical conclusion had Mick's mate not stepped in. That's not good. The joke there is the karmic response in the reaction. It's also there to set up the later joke where it's all flipped on its head. It should be seen as sexual assault, but the joke is that she's not.
You can not like the joke of the time, but to ignore all context doesn't do the discussion any favours.
Nobody's ignoring anything and I don't mind the joke one way or another. I'm just saying the guys in charge of this rerelease might have thought, "hmm, are families in 2025 going to laugh when he grabs them crotches the way they did in the 80s, or does it make our protagonist look like an asshole?" Instead of panicking about transphobia as asserted in the tweet in the OP.
