What is up with not showing actual, proper clips and footage for the visual effects and animated short/film nominees? Seriously whoever decided that is an idiot. Ever since I was a kid one of my favorite things about the Oscars was watching the footage for the SPFX nominees and learning about new animated shorts I never knew about. But no, let's just keep the timer on the show running any way we can.
