I can see it...totallyIf they ever get around to remaking Blade, Ali should totally play him.
Technically he is, but he's also only in the second hour of the film.
Haven't seen Moonlight but dude was amazing in Luke Cage so I'm happy for him
He was too good for that show
So was Shannon and Patel. None of them were in most of the movieMahershala Ali, huh? I'm glad he won that Oscar, but he was slight in the film. I would've given it to Shannon or Patel.
It won't, it's Manchester, La La, or Lion to loseI think La La Land might lose out to Moonlight for Best Picture, have this feeling
The lead/supporting distinction is somewhat arbitrary. Anthony Hopkins has a lead actor Oscar for a role that was barely 20 minutes of screen time.Something about him being in less than half of the movie.
Happy Ali won. Glad I stayed up.

Been a fan since 4400 tv series.
Ali winning was the only thing I really cared about, so the Oscars can go smoothly from here
Love how Neistat pretends hes not some sponsor shill..mother fucker is doing international Samsung commercials now.
Hollywood not awarding a film that fellates Hollywood? I wouldn't hold your breath

You forgeting Judi Dench in Shakespeare in Love, screen time dont mean a damn thing.
We will disagree on thatYeah, I'm just saying I didn't feel that was his best performance, in comparison to the work the others did. Glad he got his Oscar though.
Naomie Harris needs to win for Best Supporting.

Kind of surprised he won in that film. I mean I guess he was okay, but I wouldn't really say it was an oustanding role.
I'm dead
We will disagree on that
He's been more prolific in the past year or two I feel, so a win is pretty much an acknowledgement of his mindshare among his peers. As if the Oscars are good for anything else really!
