Not generally, no. The only exception would be soundtracks that have songs carefully chosen and actually used in the film. I'm freaking tired of films with orchestral scores I'd like to have that only get soundtrack releases made up of generic rock songs that were "Inspired By" the movie. Damn retarded if you ask me.
