Silent Hill 2 was great too, mostly because of Yamaoka's soundtrack

I'm suprised so few have mentioned the Silent Hill 4 E3 trailer. Sure, the game was disappointing, but that was one of the finest game trailers ever produced. It was almost TOO good, as it managed to give meaning to things that would actually have none in the game.

Pick any MGS2 or MGS3 trailer. Kojima-san sure knows how to make the public go crazy!

When I saw the first mgs2 trailer, it watched it again and again...This game was the reason I bought my PS2.

No matter what you guys say, I really liked the game. One of my favs...take that bitches!

But the MGS2 trailer KO'ed the Dreamcast in Tyson like fashion.

Was there ever an amazing Mario 64 trailer?

There were movies of Mario 64 and Blast Corps on the net and BBSes, and back then people were going wild over it.

One that I really liked was the trailer for Sonic R. It had the best music, and it was the first time seeing Sonic in an entirely 3D game.

The one that starts with Mary talking about being in SH while James is rowing that boat is awesome. The music is what really carries it as you said. I still think Yamaoka is the best composer in the industry today.
