you know kabedon? that shoujo trope where the guy slams his hand on the wall behind the love interests? In that scene the tokusatsu hero was fighting a monster or whatver and like he does the kabedon to the monster in the middle of the fight and the monster like falls in love with the hero and iirc he walks away and texts him a break up texts that blows him up or something I think

The bullshit that comes out of EuroGaf in response to racial discrimination in the EU criticisms is crazy. Ol boy up in that thread is really saying that there is no Ferguson levels of racial tension in Europe after all of the Immigrant drama happening right now, being the news topic of that very same thread, and after the on again, off again violence in Paris. Every other day since the people fled to Germany there is news of some mass movement of people doing dark shit because of racial tension.

Hey Malyse, I watched Mulan yesterday for the first time in years. Parts of the beginning didn't resonate with the adult me, but overall the movie was still prone to give me the feels.

It's weird, we both love and loathe each other. There's definitely a lot of denial when it comes to racism. A lot of people have the view that "I don't notice it therefore it doesn't exist".

Interesting fact: I only saw Mulan for the first time a few years ago
when I mainlined all the princess movies back to back plus Atlantis, Black Cauldron and Enchanted.
Mulan is the second best princess in the line up.
Thought I'm hoping Moana takes the top slot and bumps her down to third.

Actually, I wish that Mulan had gotten the Aladdin treatment. I would have loved a Mulan animated series.
Actually, I just wish a non white princess could have mass appeal like Frozen even though I'm aware of the problems that would cause.

Something like this would happen, except this time it would be someone's eight year old moppets that they post on social media and proceed to get dragged over, which in turn leads to the "it's a kid, lay off, it's not racist" defense force and "anti-SJW, if you have the opportunity to offend, then you should definitely do your best to offend" assholes. No fun for anyone.
