Heh. Woke up this morning to find Bundlestars selling their Batman Arkham bundle again that I missed out on years ago (so now I have all of those except for Knight

Mostly annoying, really.
The guy who did my taxes, and my mother's, managed to put my tuition credits on hers, and it's getting annoying quickly. Now I'm being asked for all this info like a notice of assessment I never received, and my school tax forms. I tried to get the notice of assessment online, but I can't do that without the generic return papers from the accountant which I was never given 'cause I would file that shit away in the same folder with 2013/2014. Pretty much SOL and have to call the Canadian Revenue Agency, but my mom needs shit done before the 3rd of January and there's no way the forms will get here in time for her to not get interest tacked on what she needs to pay back since she was reassessed. The guy I went to years before never did me this dirty, smh. ¯\_(ツ

Tax season is about the most annoying season of anything. The CRA always seemed more strict than the IRS when it came to my taxes. Hopefully you can get that mess sorted.
As for me, legit just running around my house with my dogs because I don't feel like taking them out in this cold ass rain.

Quick question for ya'll in the US; do you receive holiday pay if you work on a statutory holiday? I was at the mall in Vegas and one of the workers at Footlocker said he didn't get paid anything extra for having to work on Christmas and I was like "c'mon, what?!". I felt especially bad because he was working until 12AM Christmas Eve and then worked first thing in the morning on Christmas.
It varies here in Canada, but generally if you work enough and are not working on the actual day of the holiday then you receive some kind of holiday pay. If you are required to work on the holiday then you receive at least time-and-a-half ( I think in Quebec it's double your wage for the day).

It usually depends on the Company/Management and their policies if they're generous, but the majority of American employment is At-Will, they don't have to pay you holiday pay past what you normally earn for working, nor offer any benefits really. When I did work in America it was retail at H&M while I was in college.

Strange most retail places are closed on Christmas. Usually only a grocery store, gas station or restaurant will be open. That being said not all places give extra holiday pay. Those places suck

It was only open because it was on the Vegas Strip. It was in the mall connected to the Planet Hollywood hotel. Still really shitty to have to work until 12am and then have to come in for the opening shift on Christmas. Then again I live in a place where stores and malls close at 9 on weekends and on Sunday everything is pretty much closed by 6 on Sunday.

That's usually the norm. Where I am it's the same shops close around 9-9:30 and then Sunday close earlier. Holiday shopping is awful, the worst part are the customers who seem outraged by stores not opening longer hours.
As much as we hate the companies, the consumer demand is the real culprit.
I feel you for real. I always have that conversation when people start complaining about companies exploiting people and cheaping out on labour; just look at the demand for sales and cheap products.
I've worked retail since I graduated high school, up until the last couple years where I'm finally getting out. Working over the holidays for so many years had completely zapped me of any holiday spirit. This was the first year I didn't have to work Black Friday or Boxing Day (previously Canada's Black Friday) and holy shit did it feel great.

Sam Fisher is an underappreciated character, at least until Conviction decided he was mid-fifties Batman and stripped him of all humor.
When I pulled into the driveway there was a tiny bird flapping around looking like he was trying to get up but couldn't, so I went inside to grab some stuff to pick him up and bring him in to help him and when I got back outside he was 100% dead. I was gone for maybe 20 seconds.
