Malyse: do not read HxH, watch the 2011 anime, seriously. Togashi was on some shit(wanted to finish teh chapter quickly to go back to dragonquest online 
) while doing those chapters and some of the chapters are just fucking scribles.
(I think they got better in some re-editions but still not as good as the anime)
EDIT: VVV yeah a bit but the next 2 or 4 arcs are quite nice,imo, and you're about to get an awesome Luffy moment iirc.

The reason I read manga is because I can blow through like 40 volumes in a few hours. Anime takes much longer to watch than reading does and I like finishing things and going on to the next one.

Yea AoS has been on fire this season. Arrow and LoT has also stepped up its game, while Flash is kinda slacking tbh
Supergirl is still kinda mediocre, but as you said, Melissa Benoist makes up for it. Now that I think about it, she's basically Kat from Gravity Rush. Just a joy to watch.

EDIT: a manga i really liked was Teppu , MMA with a woman/girl protagonist who's pretty much an asshole
Shame it ended so quickly cause the author had some health issues, iirc That's fair, the cast really is great. I watched the anime first, then dipped into the manga, where it got so much better. Which is great, because I needed another quality manga to read weekly besides One Piece, as HxH is on hiatus... again.
I am going to check the anime, some times cutting out some of the bullshit makes things better.

The main character is alright at least he's not a bumbling idiot. Tanks those horrifically shattered limbs well. Rival dude with exploding powers is great though.
I'm hoping Orga loses everything. Not because I don't like him, but for the story to really drive home the idea that everything he's done was dumb and impulsive.
