My tuition loans are blocked for mh final year because I've been in Uni too long, despite 2 of the previous years being removed for Compelling Personal Reasons.
One of the letters from my counsellor, back in 2015 is not in the system.
So I gotta send that in but who knows?
Thing is, I transferred into the second year at this Uni instead of doing my final year this time (and graduating right now) because I was told I had those 2 years available (and this Uni >>>> my old one).
I can do nothing but smile rn

Spain, oddly enough, is probably the best Euro country I've been too and heard from regarding people of color. I think having Granada and a history of brown folks living there helped, gasp, normalize them.
It's still not perfect obviously (don't look at some candy packaging) but it's a damn sight better than most else if Europe.

UK is the best, due to how close it is to the USA. It's when you get to mainland Europe it gets worse as you go towards Russia. Spain, Germany, etc all have black face problems but way better then the former USSR states. Them places are scary as fuck for a brother.

That thread reminds me of attending one of the black student group meetings at my old school. It's a good example of why many black folk would like to have those kinds of safe spaces to talk about our issues sometimes.
