- Do you feel ostracized as a black nerd/dork? Charles Barkley once said that "there's nothing sadder than a black nerd". What do you think about those words, and while we're on the issue, what is gaf's opinion on the whole "act white" thing?
If we are talking from a games side then the people at my school were always into games it was an accepted thing same with Anime in fact i was there when 'Manga' started to really take off in the UK.
From a music culture angle It used to really bother me, seriously black kids coming up now who are into more 'alternative' stuff don't know the mockery that used to come with it. As i was into alternative music when i was 13 of course my peers at that time could never get their head around it. But i held strong and now don't give a fuck what people think.
