Tager's projectile is the best in the game hands down. I don't even think dodging a well timed spark is even possible...

This guy was just tossing them across screen with no set up.
 
I love using the spark bolt, but I still suck at following it up. It is definitely the best projectile(and it goes through any other one), but that's to be expected since it needs a full charge to use.
 
Once I found out that I could actually hold/delay most of Tager's moves, mainly 263C, I lost all fear of Noel and Tao.
 
I started playing with Carl today and it really made me fall in love with the game. I dicked around with him in training mode for about 2 hours and it was so fun trying to get his combos down, although they are balls hard. Finally started to get the clap loop down, ah so satisfying. Took him into arcade mode and wasn't having any trouble until i got to Hakumen,still haven't beaten him yet....
 
Phew!

I feel so relieved after I beat an Arakune...Tager v. him is horrible, you need to finish the fight fast and you get completely fucked from every direction if you get cursed at all. That tends to happen with anyone, but giant hitbox man rarely touches the damn ground. :lol
 
I feel so bad that I can only win against certain characters using Noel.

Well, sometimes I just feel bad I can only win using Noel.

I ran into a few other level 30s that barrier bursted right away and let me get a double perfect, I guess once they hit the level they just wanted to hurry to get 200 matches for the achievement? Haha.
 
Fought my first Carl tonight. I saw the guy pick him and LOLed, then he proceeded to absolutely fucking annihilate me. Jesus he is a beast in the hands of someone that knows how to use him. Get stuck between Carl and Nirvana and you are fucked. Fought him like ten times and managed to squeak out one win.

That is so odd. I'm only level 10 or so, but last night this fellow barrier bursted right when I got in on him. If he was thinking I'd have a huge combo and just apply pressure like crazy he was wrong. But meh, I'll take that damage scaling without complaint.
 
Anyone know of a way to bring any of the galley over to PC? I'd really like some of this art on my cell or as a wallpaper...

I'm still lvl 1 ;___;

I need a hyperbolic time chamber or some shit if I EVER hope getting better at this game.

Oddly enough, I ran into a Level 30 Jin last night that didn't even attempt to get out of the corner from my Rachel. Was just a long series of corner combos, George XIII, and throws ... yet he never bursted. Second round was pretty much the same though he hit me before I started but, again, no bursting. Oh well, gave my ego a boost
to then be crushed by getting raped by a Tager
.

I need to get some GAF matches in for practice. Practicing all through Ranked is hurting my ratio :lol

I don't know how to combo for shit besides with Jin, but I stopped playing as him.

Ratio Smatio. My ratio isn't all the great in BlazBlue, and in Street Fighter IV it's bad enough to make a man's man cry.

He's a bitch to learn, but it's sooooo gratifying when you win with him. Playing him is like having an assist mechanic in the game, like MvC2 or KOF 2K. Kinda like Zappa (with the dog possession) from the Guilty Gear games.

All the better then. Just feel a bit more relaxed in a non-ranked match to try something new and to learn various characters. That and a chance to not play randoms.

I hate the score attack mode too bloody hard :\

I don't even care about the score but I would like to have the trophy :(
 
Couldn't find a PS3 version of the game for the life of me, but finally found out that newegg has some PS3 copies in stock if anyone still doesn't have but wants.
 
I'm still trying to figure out a good button setup on my TE stick for this game.

I've tried

ABC -
D- - -

ABCD
- - - -

and

-ABC
-D - -

I don't like any of them!

The first one has the buttons too close to the actual stick. How do japanese players use sticks with the stick and buttons so damn close to each other? It's too cramped. That's why I don't use the two closest to the stick in SF4.

The 2nd feels unnatural, and the 3rd isn't comfortable either since the buttons are straight.

I could try a AB with CD below it setup i guess..
 
Man, I just watched the tutorial Blu Ray disc. HOLY SHIT, this game is insanely deep, I had no idea just how deep the game was.

I was using Noel wrong all along, I need to train myself over again because using her RIGHT will so damn fun.

God I love this game, every fighting fan should have it, no question. I am happy that the game is being sold out everywhere.
 
I just ordered a copy of the PS3 LE from Play-Asia since I couldn't find it anywhere else. It cost me 80 bucks with the super slow shipping. I should see you guys online in a week.

Yeah that would be pretty nice. Everytime I think I'm getting better in training, I get rocked by some random button masher online lol.

You and me both. It's gonna take me forever to get good with Rachel, but I'm gonna do it!

As hard as she is to use, at least she's the perfect counter to the damned Nu and Arakune players.

Drop the game's difficulty down to beginner and switch it to one round. Hammer through the arcade mode with all of the characters and you'll have all of the Astral Finishers in short order

wow i did not know you could change the difficulty to easy for arcade lol.

Looking at other forums it seems people do not like the Remix tracks on the OST, I think they sound interesting. Anyone else like them?

I am glad I have yet to face a good Nu, damn.

I just got a new camera and I'll record some of my replays later, still in shakey cam but it should rape the eyes a lot less. In particular I have 4 or 5 from just an hour or so ago, I've been lucky as hell today and actually feel bad for some of the wins I got.
 
10-27 is better than 3-43...right..

Everytime I think I'm getting good someone comes and pushes my shit back and says "lol no u stil suck".

Tager is a beast...seriously one dude threw some shit at me ( I didn't even know he had a projectile)., then pulled me in and just raped the shit out of me...goddam.

I can't beat any Noel ( and I'm an expert at spamming D...thats all I do). and using Nu = just embarrassing myself..

but I may be a noob extreme but I'm having fun in losing whilst in SFIV I was just getting owned badly..here i'm getting owned with a smile..

now I just have to find someone that's not Noel to be good with....shit
