I just ordered a copy of the PS3 LE from Play-Asia since I couldn't find it anywhere else. It cost me 80 bucks with the super slow shipping. I should see you guys online in a week.

? I just posted above that newegg.com has it in stock :) 63 with 3 day shipping. No tax

this game needs a survival mode

That's pretty much what score attack is, though instead of an endless fight it's just once against everyone that gets topped off with a cheap bastard Ragna.

I guess I was looking more towards GG AC+'s survival....where you can upgrade your characters...'twas a nice touch

but I may be a noob extreme but I'm having fun in losing whilst in SFIV I was just getting owned badly..here i'm getting owned with a smile..

I may not be a "noob extreme" but I feel the same way about losing in this game. I just don't get pissed off getting my ass handed to me like I do in Street Fighter, even when I repeatedly get completely whooped on by guys like FindMyFarms.

I have a feeling nu-13 is the best character in the game
As of right now, every 'expert' on the matter says its Arakune.

But I'd have to say that Tager and Nu have the rare ability to pretty much destroy anyone in seconds.

I need a means to capture footage that isn't terrible cam footage :( Oh well, my Rachel vs some Jin.

Was a level 30 opponent (to my I think 24 at the time?) if I recall. Surprised he didn't burst a single time in the match :lol

yes, even if they play as bad as me -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wjDE8t7-IdQ

I don't wanna rant but... please spend 20 minutes in practice the next 3-4 days. Just learn some of her combos from C, fwd+C, downforward+C, D and her throw.
They are really not hard.
→C > →DD > ↓DD > JDD > jc > JDD or J↓DD > J↓↙←D
DD > ←DD > J↓DD > J↓↙←D
Throw > DD > →DD > ↓DD > JDD > jc > J↓DD > J↓↙←D
(J means jump, jc means also jump)

This will not only increase my joy in watching but also put some meaning behind "even I can destroy people in seconds" :D

@scy: Ahahaha... well, Rachel scrubbing sure beat out that Jin scrub...noob...guy

sorry about closing the room last night after you only got 1 game in, lol

i was tired as hell.

Edit: i don't think it matters what game i'm playing, if it's a fighting game i rage out when i lose, especially when it'sa match i could have easily won, but as FindMyFarms said last night.

" quick, someone give Eraldo the heimlich "

Yeah, I reeeally need to work on my air combo game with Rachel. Going through my replays, I've missed a lot of 6A Counter Hits or j.2C bounces that I could've punished but fail to do so. I just always mess that up and I'm too comfortable with my ground combos. Bah.

Just learn some of her combos

I can't, my left wrist is fucked up so I have to use the normal pad

when my wrist is ok again I will use my ps2 stick again and try combos (a bit, I was never a big combo player, no matter what beat em up)

"I can't, my left wrist is fucked up so I have to use the normal pad"

Nu's combos are some of the easiest in the game. DD, back.DD, qcf.D. Congrats! Most of them are just mashing a button while holding a direction. It's great!

Fuck number notation

I just got the game. Packaging is impressive. Goodbye SFIV, at least for a while.

Any suggestions on a character just to get started?

yes I know but even pressing any direction buttons on the D-Pad is hurting :/

and who cares, I won! and I only can play ranked matches when I find someone in my level ~8 (and all people I can find are level 40 and up) player matches never work and no one I know also imported BlazBlue so I have to fight to random strangers from other continents

10 minutes a day for 2 weeks?
That's really not much, ne? :-)

Hey, in SFIV I play Ryu and normally my regular combos are 2-3 hits.

But in BlazBlue comboing is pretty easy and a much more integral part. I currently play Ragna and his combos are really easy. I didn't even look around, just experimented for a bit.

If you put in a little practice time each day, it will pay off in a huge way in damage and also in feeling when playing the game (especially as Nu). Comboing in this game feels mighty cool :D

I started with Litchi and now I kind of want to use Bang because he's so funny. Each character is so different. I also want to use Ragna but he seems like the Ken-ish guy that a lot of people use so I don't know.

I'm starting to 'feel' Noel - which means that... Uhm... I can now do a few of her most basic combos. I still suck, though, but I'm on my way, I quess. :) Best of all, BB is fun as hell, and I don't mind losing. At all. Usually I get super-pissed when I suffer a losing-streak ( in SFIV, for example ), to the point of slowly backing away from the whole game. For some reason, BB doesn't do this to me - the gameplay is just so much fun whether you lose or win.

I'll be playing this for a long time to come, indeed.

So I'm playing single-player right now. I finished the game once but the completion % for a character is at 43%

How do I get it to 100%? I heard there is a "real ending" or something. I'm lost lol.

This is mad obnoxious.

I'm sorry. It's just that it's also used in my native language and "That's really not much, is it?" feels overly formal to me.

Its weird, if I were to lose a heartbreaker in anything else I'd be slightly embittered but in BB I just get that much more excited.

I recorded a replay of a match I did earlier to mainly test the quality of my camera, it's atleast waaaaay better than the last awful video I had. I think it turned out well enough, and I mainly saved it because of the awesome end to the first round.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0hhMAFAjCm4

I'm reuploading the bang one so it can actually be seen what the hell is happening, and I have 6-7 more close matches I saved that I'm uploading but damn I never knew youtube was so slow.

Also, it's not something I notice while in the match, but after watching replays...I see that I use 2D way too much. :lol

Great got off the phone with cable people... i guess the new complex i live in is borked... they have to rewire the whole fucking thing... won't have internet for a bit..
