Probably already beaten but I think the guys at MyWay Entertainment(Juggernaut Bitch) got it right. I remember watching their Power Ranger video and they had the Blue Ranger saying some questionable stuff.
 
Wow. Never would have guessed that David Yost got down like that. +500 more respeck points for him and what he believed he had to do. Definitely understandable, given the kind of stuff Saban and co. did already.

Yeah, it was. We even have a direct hint of who is eventually going to be Lex's intended partner. Too bad the series is once again in limbo, thanks to SLG's rights to the series lapsing. Alas, poor Weisman...

Porn? No. She was, however, topless in an otherwise non-porn movie. Sadly though, you only see it from far away and it's quite hard to make anything out.

He's already gone pro, but so far he's only fought and destroyed nobodies. He'll definitely need to build up his win rate against real competitors if he wants to receive any attention from the UFC. He'll be 37 in a little over a week, so he may have missed his chance. He could definitely most likely make it onto Strikeforce if he felt he wanted to settle.

Man, I just saw this video for the first time, which shows Yost being hassled a bit by Frank. Frank comes off as a real dick here.

David seemed to take it with good nature. There's a video of them together at a convention recently where David handed a fan a collection of pictures of all the stuff JDF did. Apparently he signed his couch, "Dear Dave, I am the best ranger. -Jason David Frank" and put a fly in a sandwich. Aside from JDF breaking a comb over his head, I don't think it was a lot more than JDF being a jackass teenager/early 20something.

Also, I think that's actually just someone saying "David! David." Can't hear the G sound at all. And I can't find the part where JDF is flipping him off. And why does David Yost say "Hit me" before JDF shows up?
 
Didn't know he was gay. And he was continually called gay slurs while on set? I thought TV show production crews and things like that were supposed to be like 2nd families to people (fake edit: didn't realize the unfortunate irony of my statement).

Good for him for leaving. He doesn't need to put up with that.

I'm not really sure about the "Gayvid," but other people have commented on it at reddit, and a few of the YouTube comments mention it.

Either way, Yost looks pretty angry about the joking in this, but I don't know.

As far as "Gayvid" goes, I think people are hearing things because of what came to light yesterday. I was looking through past comments, and no one seemed to hear "Gayvid" before today.

One time when he was doing Our Gang/The Little Rascals, Alfalfa peed on a camera lamp, which later exploded which caused a terrible smell and filming had to be shut down for a day

Dunno, Yost looked pissed off in that video to me. He pushed JDF/Tommy out of the way and says "hit me" then just stares him down the rest of the video.

Jason David Frank seemed like he was joking but Yost looked serious as can be.

At 1:06 you can see some douche saying "Davids queer yeah huh?" After the alleged "Gayvid" and then calling "Gayvid" one of the monsters on the show.
 
How did all of this never get out at the time? Or did people on the set just ignore what they were seeing/hearing? I really hope something comes of his interview in the OP. David really deserves some kind of justice.

I can't hear for sure "David's queer" but in conjunction with "Gayvid" that starts to build a case for it. It sounds like Walter Jones could have been the one saying the alleged "David's queer" line.

Looks like it's the start of Season 2, since the putty has a Z on the chest. And is it me or does David say "he's black" and points to Walter?

But really, don't blame Holly Wood man. Look at the other rangers, they were Hollywood preps from some 90s highschool thinking they're the next upcoming TV stars. People like that make Hollywood look bad (or atleast worst then it already is.) Blue ranger was the BEST actor on site, so they made fun of him because of it. My 2 cents

I think it was combination of a few factors. Maybe people were actively ignoring what was being said at the time. As a kid in the 90s, words like "gay", "faggot", "retard" were popular euphemisms for kids (who didn't even know the meanings of the words) to use on other kids. I was taught not to use them myself, even though I tried a couple times and got punished for it (again, because of not realizing the connotations). :lol

Maybe a distorted sense of right/wrong when it comes to "buddy/buddy" talk. Notice after the supposed "Gayvid/He's queer" video clip. Walter Jones says "Hi I'm Walter Jones!" and David goes "he's black.". That's okay, isn't it? I don't know.

I was actually surprised growing up, the older the people were that I interacted with (including people I went to school with), the more they talked like that. Not having a very good sarcasm detector like those people, I just didn't communicate that way.

Maybe though, if it's good for South Park/Family Guy/SNL/stand-up comedy it's good for the general populace.

Also, yeah I was kidding about JDF being the Alfafa of PR. I'm sure he was having fun and the episode they were putting together in that video "Putty on the Brain" turned out to be a good team effort
 
My friend who is actually, gay had the blue ranger as his favorite. And I am absolutely serious about this.. I wanted to send him the link on facebook, but I am afraid he will be offended.

You know - It would be like; "ohh I found some gay content, so I will send it to you, because you must be interesting in everything gay since your gay".

It was funny because of the brashness of AniHawk's post. Calcaneus's post commenting that the girls had aged well seemed very reasonable considering the posts of Amy on the previous page, and I'm assuming a lot of people (Like me) simply brushed by his comment, either not really thinking about it, temporarily forgetting about Trang's death, or maybe just being completely oblivious to it. When AniHawk posted, it was just completely out of left field (At least for me) and I couldn't help but laugh.

I don't know if I'd call JDF an asshole. Apparently, he was a total prankster on the set, which could rub some people the wrong way (and apparently did). Though he actually didn't like the guy who played Jason, because JDF considered himself a real martial artist and looked down on Jason for being from an inferior dojo, or something like that.

I thought it was something about Austin St. John kinda not wanting to be there. There was a convention when he said something along the lines of not knowing if/when Austin would show up at things.

Eh? I think I know vaguely what you're talking about (Frank did say such things at a series of con vids that were in another Ranger topic months ago), but I was under the believe that said comments were more geared towards Steve "Rocky" Cardenas. Or am I mistaken?

It really, really sucks that David was treated like this. One of the former cast should write a tell all book about all the crap that went on behind the scenes. I sure as hell would buy it!!

Yost eventually left the show toward the end of the Power Rangers: Zeo season. While it was originally believed that he had left the series due to insufficient pay, Yost later revealed in an interview that he left the series because he could no longer handle co-worker harassment that targeted his homosexuality. He was often called a "faggot" and the producers would ask the other actors questions about Yost's sexuality.[3][4] Scott Page-Pagter, a long time producer of the show, responded to these remarks saying that Yost did not leave the show for this reason and issued a statement, "[Yost] and two of the other actors were all getting a bonus on top of their salary. When the other two left the show, production wanted to stop giving him the bonus, and that’s ultimately what led to his departure from the show." Pagter denied the allegations of homophobia, saying, "I don’t know why he’s saying this, but he was the only one no one got along with ... he was a pain in the ass."[5] The character's final episode, "Rangers of Two Worlds", employed footage from previous episodes as well as vocal work from a separate, uncredited actor, to conceal the fact that Yost was not present during the taping. A tribute to the Blue Ranger and Billy was seen in the closing credits of this last Billy episode.

Dont want to rain on the pity parade.. But there are always MULTIPLE sides to a story.. I HIGHLY DOUBT his story is the FULLLL story... is what he was saying in the interview true... Maybe... possibly... Is that the ENTIRE reason for leaving...
