I see Nolan still enjoys filming action sequences where you can't really see shit except for close ups and cuts to "exciting" shit. Too bad.

Good you added the disclaimer cause I mentioned that the shitty cam is VERY zoomed in. You don't see shit in it cause its zoomed in and blurry.

The second leaked video is also chopped in half.

So does his voice sound like it's slightly mechanical/difficult to speak, something like the difficulties of quadriplegics have when speaking (thinking back on Christopher Reeves). It doesn't sound like regular speech, but "laboured" speech.

Holy cow at
the whole segment when the hijacked plane is turned vertically toward the ground with Bane hanging with one hand.

Does it really matter though? It's IMAX aspect ratio. When the majority of people in the world watch the actual movie, it'll be in the normal aspect ratio that regular cinemas have. It'll be "chopped in half" anyway. Same with the DVD/BD.

Yup, good description. He sounds as if he's being artificially restrained, which is perfect. Do some clean up / ADR and the voice will be great.

Not true. It's pan/scanned/zoomed-out to fit the scene. Also, if you have seen TDK you will notice that IMAX scenes are fullscreen instead of having black bars.

That scene took my breath away. I watched it in a dome theater and the screen was massive so I was like "holy shit" when it cut to that scene.

The score is fucking amazing!

Any idea on what Bane was doing - why was he drawing the doctor's blood and the unconcious guy that brought in the bag?

I assume he was transfusing the doctor's blood into the corpse, when they foudn the wreckage they'd assume the doctor was dead. at the beginning of the scene you hear Carcetti explaining that he reported how many people were on the plane.

Shame the screen is so cut off, the quality is amazing

Putting the doctor's blood in the dead guy so it'll appear to be him in the wreckage. Same reason Bane makes his bro stay. The CIA dude said they had one captured mercenary on board.

You are working towards a predetermined conclusion, that Nolan films action with too many closeups. Saying that watching a cam which only shows part of the screen is analogous to how it will end up on non-imax/home video is stretching credibility. A lot. Also "the actual movie" as if WB wouldnt care about the movie being unwatchable in the majority of cinemas.

But really, who like to reserve judgement?

oh, and regarding the spoilery montage at the end:
I'm happy the Batwing doesn't have helicopter blades like some people suggested. Straight up Blade Runner shit up in Gotham.

I was thinking that. That is fucking smart of Bane. He will be one smart badass and he is powerful. That one scene in the montage has me hyped though. Bane walking away with Batman's Mask in the Batcave I guess.

The batwing looks a lot better in motion than those still made it look. I was dreading the batwing, but i think it will work.
