Another of these shirts that are entered in the contest are pretty amazing.
That is sick, especially The Rising Shadow

I thought the just screen movies they know are going to bomb IE Scott Pilgrim

The other rumor (that's still strong) is that WB is going to re-do the early screening viral of TDK, but this time it's to see the entire trilogy in 1 screening the week of release (Tuesday before the release).

Nooooooo, I'm going to be out of town that week. :(

The viral marketing was targeted at the die-hards last time anyway, so don't use the excuse they were enticing new fans to the series by making them follow a treasure map to a cake shop to collect a bowling ball with a mobile in it. It was a unique and fun way to slowly release info to bat-fans before the rest of the world caught up. Its sorely missed.

TDK viral marketing was my favorite marketing ever. They fucking nailed it. Dude is right, this time around it's really undercooked. :-/

Because viral marketing is a waste of money when you don't need to do it.

Speaking of viral marketing, does anyone care about Spider-Man's? I haven't seen anyone talking about it anywhere except for Spider-Man forums lol.

Spider-Man one is definitely tacked on as hell.

Super 8 and Tron Legacy killed viral marketing. All that money spent, and they probably added like 7 customers more than they would have without it.

That TED talk trumps all of TDK viral

You have to admit, even amongst how good "whysoserious" and "I believe in Harvey Dent" was

TDK had thousands of nerds across the world running around doing shit outside their house.

No video is going to top that.
I think we're arguing quality versus effectiveness. In the case of latter, I doubt if any other movie in the next few years can even come close to holding a candle against the effectiveness TDK's campaign. Now quality is a subjective matter ..
