I'll be in class, too. But I've got a computer in front of me in this class.

You guys think it's related to TDKR or MI:4?

Should be batman...why would there be viral advertising a week before MI:4 releases..

That line was dumb. Dont they pat down everyone before they enter the court? Another scene I dislike is when Batman is zooming in his batpod right after it dislodges from his batmobile, and then it cuts to a scene of kids going playing 'pew pew' with handgun gestures and suddenly there's an explosion presumably from an object being fired on by the batpod, and batman zooms past them. It was a completely useless scene and should've been left in the editing room.

What? That scene was great. A nice little joke before leading into the main scene. You are seriously nitpicking here.

I havent kept up with the info, but when will we get to see the teaser? Will it be released on the internet soon? ;__;

Teaser? That was released back in August.

Trailer #1 will be attached to Sherlock Holmes and maybe to MI4 regular release.

Prologue is attached to MI4 IMAX but only for projection IMAX's not any IMAX theater that uses digital. So not every theater calling itself IMAX will be showing the prologue.

Link to all the IMAX theaters in the US showing the prologue was posted a page or two ago.

TDKR IMAX prologue was amazing. I didn't think he could, but I think Nolan has done it, he's made a movie to top TDK. Holy shit so good!!
Don't understand why people say shit like this and still expect anyone to listen to their opinion. There's no rational way you can reach that conclusion based off of 6 minutes of footage.

How amazing would it be if the trailer was released tomorrow?

What can they be showing tomorrow? Bane and Catwoman have both been revealed.

ROBIN?

The joker prologue was pretty damn good. If this is better well here we go.

Tweets from @TheInSneider, a reporter for Variety

Aiden Gillen and Josh Stewart figure into the prologue but the whole things kicks off with Gordon talking about Harvey Dent.
New Bat logo is very cool! Prologue features some exciting acrobats. A must-see in IMAX format. Definitely worth seeking out those theaters.
Just saw The Dark Knight Rises prologue. It was great but main criticism will be that it's tough to understand Bane through the mask...

Welp, that debunks the rumour about the plane sequence. (I guess?)

Someone asked @HitFixGregory if it's the plane sequence and he replies

Hmmmm. The plot thickens.

Others are also saying Catwoman and JGL are in it. But it isn't clear to me if they mean the actual prologue or just the 30 second montage of footage following it.

Chris Nolan himself was there to introduce it, and spoke a little more about why he’d embraced IMAX even further this time. “It's a film format that was invented the year before I was born, but it is to this day, far and away the best format that has ever been created, there's nothing to touch it. The best way to see that, to get the benefit of the action scenes the way we've seen them is on the screen of this size. So we wanted to get it out there for fans to let them know what this experience going to see, why it's worth seeing, and worth seeking out.

“For me as a filmmaker, this format takes me back really to how I was as a child, seeing this incredible larger-than-life format. That's something I wanted to bring back. I've found it an incredible immersive experience, and there's something very exciting about showing people this prequel. So that's why we're getting this out so far ahead of the rest of the film. I haven't started editing the rest, so don't ask me what happens in the end!”

And the lights when down and the fun really started.

Can we sum the footage up in a word? No. A sound? “Woooargh!” Launching with Gary Oldman’s Commissioner Gordon remembering an old friend we met in The Dark Knight, it then segues into the main event. A miniature thrill-ride in and of itself, the prologue features some stunning camera work (clearly Nolan felt like applying some of the tricks and style he mastered on Inception) and the opening sequence, which gives us our first look at Bane (Tom Hardy), comes off like a cross between a Bond movie and everything we’ve come to love about Nolan’s Bat-universe. Highlights include one very confused CIA agent, a truly clever attack, superb stuntwork, some threatening words from Mr Bane himself and a lot of clues about his links to the bigger story.

After the prologue came a brief sizzle reel burst of shots from later in the film, which gave us proper looks at Anne Hathaway in full costume, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and a certain wonderful toy. The major feeling we were left with is that we want to see more, and we want to see it right now.

Trust us when we say you really want to experience this on the biggest IMAX screen you can find. And where might you find the screens in the UK? Funny you should ask! You can find the list here.
