lol :(

Just ordered three IMAX tickets that put my party dead center in the 11th of 13 rows. Hopefully those seats work out. Haven't been to an IMAX flick since Attack of the Clones at the Fox Theater lol.

Got my tickets earlier for opening day Imax at the 7:50 show at Coliseum Mississauga. Dead center, second row from the back.

I checked again just now and it's practically sold out. I've never seen this happen before.

Also, since the thread moved so fast today, I'll repeat: The guy working at the theater confirmed that the 2 hour 45 minute run time is official, straight from WB. Most of the other popular chains have also posted the same thing. This movie is long.

It's a good thing. Prometheus should have been 45 minutes longer.

Almost 50% of the real IMAX is sold out so far in NYC for OW. Most of the showings left are VERY early and late shows. Who watches a movie at 3:50am? lol

Couple of marathons sold out as well, I assume a lot of people are waiting for the IMAX showings judging by the blowup on twitter...

I hate the marathon was last minute, I would've loved to see all 3 in real IMAX. =(

I'm about to select my tickets. 7:20 on July 20 show. Is the middle of the middle an okay place to watch IMAX from?

Where's the best seats at? I can probably get a show on Friday.

Best seats are the middle of the back row, but the middle of the middle is just fine. The theater is wider than it is long, so the row number won't make as dramatic a difference as it does in a traditional 35mm auditorium. Just don't sit near the front. Neck cramps galore, plus the full screen probably won't fit in your field of vision.

Alright, pre-ordered my tickets. I got seats F-15 to F-17. On the little map thing, they are just slightly left of dead center. So I'm happy. Would have gone for the noon show, but my buddy's still at work then.

I wish I could marathon everything in IMAX, but I can't spend eight hours in a theater, I'll go bonkers. I will watch BB and TDK at home in Blu-ray before going to see TDKR at the theater.

Yeah, same for me. I"m really like to go, but staying in a theater that long would drive me crazy. Plus, I'm an early sleeper and I'd be low on energy during the midnight screening of TDKR.
