I just saw Sherlock Holmes 2, and man, even taking all of its many flaws out of the picture, giving Rapace so little to do was a travesty."Fuck Batman"
*Makes 2 movies as Sherlock Holmes*

I'll give you the first one and I already mentioned the second one but I'm sorry, the third and fourth aren't the type of detective work I'm talking about.
Running a search via Brother Eye isn't detective work, he's just scanning for something to move the plot forward. A techie/hacker in another film could do that (Kevin Smith in Die hard 4 comes to mind). I want to see the World's Greatest Detective do a little more "detecting" than that.
Fourth is, like you've said, essentially a google search.
Damn you Solo, now I have to pre-order it...
A detective is just someone who uses what he's given or finds to solve crimes. All 4 of those are that.
Sounds more like you just want researching scenes, which is fine but you only need to show that once or twice in a movie to get the point across that he does research to solve these crimes, which I think the bullet reconstruction does.
Really hardy does the circuit?Unfortunately, Bale and Nolan don't go on those shows. Hoping for some good Tom Hardy interviews though...
Batman is a genius detective. So please start doing genius detective stuff (using his mind, not his money to lightly irradiate money)
I'd like to think the joker found out too. Sending his plan into motion before the copsDoesn't he have to use his mind to realize that you can irradiate money so that you can trace it's movement without the mob finding out (or wouldn't have found out until dirty cops told them)?

Some rare behind the scenes pics from Begins. I love how different each of these movies look.

Love this stuff. Always get excited to see behind the scenes pics. I especially love when I see some from TDK, since it seems to be so rare. Are we ever getting another documentary on the making of that film, or is the footage basically out there? I thought if anything, it would release right before TDKR releases.

In 2005, director Christopher Nolan redefined the Batman legend with Batman Begins, starring Christian Bale as the Caped Crusader. A fresh, dynamic reboot of the franchise, Batman Begins explored the comic book hero’s origins and his evolution from billionaire Bruce Wayne to dark avenger who fights crime and corruption in Gotham City. A 2008 sequel, The Dark Knight, took those compelling, character-driven foundations and raised the stakes, pitting Batman against a deranged master criminal, the Joker, in an all-out war for Gotham’s soul. Now, the final film of Nolan’s trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises, is 2012’s most anticipated film release.
Christopher Nolan’s Batman: The Art and Making of The Dark Knight Trilogy tells the complete behind-the-scenes story of these three monumental films. Based on in-depth interviews with Nolan and all of the films’ key cast and crew—including cowriters David S. Goyer and Jonathan Nolan, cinematographer Wally Pfister, and more—the book reveals the creative process behind the epic Dark Knight Trilogy, supported by lavish art and never-before-seen photography.
There's a trilogy art book coming out in July.

Christopher Nolan's Batman: The Art and Making of the Dark Knight Trilogy
304 pages, so it should have lots of stuff.
Really, DM?
:lol
Ehh, that's really a wasted opportunity given some of the possible titles they could have: The Bat Knight, The Darkman Rises, Knightman Begins, Rises The Darkman Knight Begins (with a Yoda cameo)Oh yeah, "Dark Knight Trilogy".
Get ready for The Dark Knight Begins in November, Solo. Just accept it now, it'll make it easier.

I was really pulling for "The Caped Crusader" in the early going, dammit! Thanks for reminding me of the reactions to The Dark Knight Rises, where people recommended some of the worst titles instead.
Shadow of the Bat!
Anyone else think that the Bruce/Alfred scenes are the best scenes in Begin/TDK?
that first half of begins is truly magicalBruce/Ra's scenes are still my favourites.

I hope the TDKR training montage is able to come close to this.

The scene of Bruce and Alfred talking on the plane in Begins has some interesting stuff if TDKR is really about coming full circle.
Edit: Yes I am watching Begins right now.
Since they're doing flashbacks again for TDKR based on some of the casting, I hope Bruce's dad gets one more run.
Then again, it'll be weird because the Young Bruce actor is like 18 now and I don't want to see another Young Bruce.
It's cool. Eight years have passed in the universe so it'll balance out.Since they're doing flashbacks again for TDKR based on some of the casting, I hope Bruce's dad gets one more run.

Didn't think of that. But yeah I was going to ask to be spoiled here: has Bruce's dad been seen on the sets or something? Just a simple yes or no.
Flashback to when Bruce is a baby, perhaps?Since they're doing flashbacks again for TDKR based on some of the casting, I hope Bruce's dad gets one more run.

and then see Bane behead a prisonerI wanna see young Bane and young Ra's sparring and sword fighting over that same icy lake from Begins.

We find out Bane was actually watching Bruce and Ra's train the whole time, and that Bruce cut Bane's arm when he was going through his test.
