This was brought up earlier before about Bale and Batman Begins (watching it now before sleep).

I really love how Bale played a tormented, committed/obsessed, and determined Bruce Wayne. The first fight scene in the prison is brilliant because of the "you are practice" line and his fight methods are just hard-bunching and brutal, like a true brawling beast

brilliant
Beating up hobos isn't exactly practice.
Why would John Carter be shown in 70mm? It wasn't shot in 70mm.

I didn't see one spoiler in there at all. It's just a speculation piece based on events from the comics. The writer is basically asking "What books will Nolan pull story elements from this time around?" The obvious is Knightfall since Bane is involved, but the writer of the article doesn't know for sure.

It was shown on a 70mm screen, but not in a 70mm aspect ratio. It kept its 35mm aspect ratio (which I'm pretty sure was 2.35:1 IIRC). I guess the benefit is that it's still the "biggest" way to see a film, and the Imax sound system is unmatched (plus reserved seating).

I see a lot of movies in my local IMAX theater, but I'm pretty sure only two of them were actually shot and projected in 70mm (TDK, and Ghotocol). Most recently, I saw The Avengers, which looked really great in Imax since the 1.85:1 aspect ratio filled more of the 70mm screen.

How can anyone listen to this garbage? It sounds like it was mixed on a potato.
Uhhh.

I'm not sure if you meant that for Zimmer or for the YT uploader (who removed the dialogues) .. but I have it playing on a laptop at work. Not listening on the headphones so the shitty quality will suffice until we get the OST. That is why I was inquiring for the OST's release date.
