Chinner is GAF's rectum king.
This one sets a pretty good mood, too (though I don't think their intention was to make me laugh):

Is it just me or is Idris Elba the only one looking boss?
It's just you - Chris Brown's folded hands > *Is it just me or is Idris Elba the only one looking boss?
Features Bane and Batman fighting in front of a building with large pillars, probably resembling a traditional stock market building.
Features Richard Nixon in flashbacks.
Holy Batman, Mastgrr's post has untagged spoilers. Tookay, fix your quotes before Bob walks in.

Haha what? There's no Richard Nixon in this movie. There was a rumor that Matthew Modine was going to play a crooked politician called Nixon but that was false. His character is named Foley.

What aboutIt's fine. They're both bullshit.
It was like he got information about this movie through a game of telephone or something and presented it as fact.
What about.Younger Ra's .. people dont know Ra's could feature in this film, albeit for a short while

And now the shouting is all done - FINAL!!! ‪#TDKR‬
Just to be clear - we finished the VFX work, not the whole movie ;-)
sound, score, making the final master and exhibition prints - there's still a big crew toiling away.
Damn it Zimmer, hurry up.
Just trying to piece together and figure out the story from the trailers, various articles and the wikipedia page. It's fun!
Only one side of his cape is affected by the wind. This will not do!

I must be the only one who doesn't really like the new posters.
Is the door/grating behind Bane when he says "your punishment must be more severe" the same as the door separating Batman and Catwoman in that earlier promo pic? Could that convo be happening directly after he thrashes Bruce? I know he's wearing a coat, but maybe he grabbed it and is leaving Bruce for dead in the sewers or wherever they are.
Through years of detective work, I finally found out who made those shitty trailer bootlegs the last 7 years.

What is up with the 1998 era phone?
They're not perfect and don't stack up to TDK's best two or three, but they are better than the pap from earlier this week.
Not sure, but I have a feeling about the scene of Catwoman backing away in shock from a grated fence, that has 1 hand clasping on the other side of it.
Right. 2nd trailer, or 3rd?
I must be the only one who doesn't really like the new posters.
For me it's the marketing in general. It's all over the place:
It's about the fall of Batman and it's a little somber
No wait it's about the Rise of Batman after some vague hiatus
No wait now it's about taking sides in some war
I get that it all has to be very confusing because of all the secrets and such but jesus christ pick a tone. I have no idea how to feel about this movie so I can't muster any care for it outside of a desire to understand this clusterfuck of a marketing campaign. I know the marketing of any movie has different tones for different audiences but this feels extra ridiculous.
There's a pic of him in Wayne Tech with a camo tumbler, Fox is in his usual suit and bow tie. That's the return from absence.
The new clip is not how you'd expect Bruce and Fox to dress.
Hey, it's the 3 acts of the movie, laid out for us!
Actually seems to be close enough to how the movie seems to be set up.
Let's not rush the master. Believe it or not, some of us are looking forward to the score more than the movie itself.
Yeah, I'm certainly looking forward to Zimmer's typical modern rehash.
I think it actually starts with the Rise of Batman after some vague hiatus. THEN he falls. THEN he rises. THEN the Gotham Trojan war starts.
...
and then that stupid helicopterplane shows up.

Didn't see this earlier, but you brought up a good point. The "getting back in the game" part makes it look like both of them are beat up and out of a job. Probably later in the movie.
And GqueB I'm not seeing what the problem is. He is in something of a downward spiral initially, rises, and fights back against Bane in a "war." What's so confusing or contradictory about this?
The theatrical poster doesn't fit with the rest of the tone, but everything else has been pretty consistent.
