I think she looks fine. My only wish is that her hair be shorter, it looks odd that it's really long like that.

But I think Anne's fucking hot. And I'm sure she'll be awesome as Catwoman. She looks damn fine to me in that suit. What I wouldn't give to have her pay me a visit wearing that in the dead of night.

You're an Anne fan. I'm a Catwoman man. Your bias conflicts with my need for proper and superior portrayal. I saw some demo shots of Catwoman.

This would almost be passable. But it's not her hair. They can't get her hair to look that awesome.

She would have been a wonderful Batgirl. But she is NO Catwoman. No Catwoman at all. (And I had a thing for her years ago. Pre her Devil Wears Prada phase.)

Well, I hope she blows your face off with an awesome portrayal of Catwoman.

She's never called catwoman in the movie if that helps.

Meee too. (ain't gonna happen though :\. If it does, I'll even admit it.)

It does, kind of. This is the last film, right? But still, the world thinks she's playing Catwoman.

edit:
Nope. I'm sorry. She's completely underwhelming as Catwoman. It's like a waste of a good role.
I'm so unhappy with this. She looks like someone dressing up as Catwoman for Holloween.

Well there are several interpretations of Selina.
Nolan's seems to be quite different and he picked Hats specifically.
As long as there is no basketball or prrrfect puns she will be great.

It's Anne Hathaway in leather and hookerboots. There is very little else I demand to be in this movie to make it watchable.

You are judging Anne's take on the character when she's not even in character? Being in costume doesnt mean she's in character .. this is more ridiculous than nitpicking.

Yeah, Batman's "one rule" rings absolutely hollow in these films, and in Batman 89 as well, but at least Keaton Batman didn't explicitly claim he doesn't kill people.

He doesn't necessarily state that he won't kill explicitly. I think it's that he won't kill when there is a choice to do otherwise - to do things by the book.

In Begins if he hadn't blown up the Chateau they had made it clear he would be killed and Gotham sacked anyway.

I'll be the first to admit that the idea of arresting Ra's is completely preposterous, but there should have been a better way to deal with him than "I won't save you!!"

Certainly leaves a bad taste in my mouth upon re-watches.

Save him and then get stabbed in the back as soon as they're off the train? Batman gave him an exit. Ras could have jumped out and hoped for the best!

I love that scene. He's clearly abusing a loophole. R'as put himself on that train trying to destroy all of Gotham.

The Joker in contrast didn't throw himself off the building. I like that this version of Batman is clearly in the grey.

Still a possibility!

I'll concede to you on your other post. Bale Batman never explicitly says he won't kill people. But man, I keep thinking about that part with the truck and the tumbler. There had to have been a better way than that. Granted, the driver might have lived through being rammed into the concrete ceiling. Who knows.

Sorry man, but the look is just wrong. Get into character? She can go into trance for all I care, its not going to change the fact that she just plain doesn't look like Catwoman.

The truck wasn't actually being driven from the cab. There was a brick on the accelerator and Joker's men were steering with long poles from behind the cab. I know this because I didn't see anybody in the cab of the truck when it got smushed and thus it is clearly the most obvious explanation!

She looks like Catwoman enough for me. I liked her in the Masquerade scene in the trailer too, kinda sultry.

And then she pretended to be his wife and stole his car. Nice.

Holy crap, that's news to me. Like I needed another reason to watch TDK again. Thank you/EFF YOU for enlightening me.

I'm not drunk. I'd like to be, though.

Ras in BB appears in the first act, then disappears all the way to the end. Only to show up and say everything was planned by him. A plot device I really hate. I just didn't like how he was used in BB.

And that fight sucked,
like every fight in the Nolan's Batman movies so far. Well, the fight in the ice was pretty nice I give that one.

That plot device was used brilliantly in BB. It seems genuinely shocking the first time around and makes complete and utter sense the second.

And that was a great fight scene in the train. R'as was seriously fucking up Batman with his boxing. Those hits looked hard and like Batman was genuinely being hurt by them.

Which is weird, because he was hitting Bats in the torso which was protected by bullet-proof armour.

Well, Bruce is wearing the weakened TDK armor now. No longer using that beastly Begins tri-weave armor. If he was he wouldn't have had to hobble away from the cops at the end of TDK.

Well, considering he had a giant log fall on him, smoke inhalation, got mobbed by a bunch of fear gas crazy inmates and had to take on four ninjas and fell off the damn platform, followed by using his grappling gun to get on the train, but not before he smashed into a giant metal roof thing, before breaking in through the train window...

I find it plausible that getting punched by a world-class martial artist and terrorist in the side would hurt a lot.

I wish Bruce kept the Begins suit is all I'm saying. If anything, he seems to be moving slower in TDK and now he's less protected. Bruce was beasting in Begins armor.

But TDK suit looked so much more tailored to Christians body, plus I like the look of it much more even if it sacrificed performance

comon, you have to agree that looks boss

I'll just say that I would rather meet TDK's Batman in a dark alley than Begins'.

TDK Bats looks like a man in a suit. Begins Bats looks like an animal that is going to throw you through a window and then shove the shards of glass up your ass.

TDK cowl loses the menace.

What's I've taken from this page is that Batman could infect all Arkham inmates with HIV and it'd be in character since it's actually other viruses that'd kill them.

I'll tell you what though, I'm fucking glad he's keeping the suit for the new movie. I'm so sick of the heroes needing to get a new outfit every single movie. The only one I find it acceptable for is Iron Man. Fuck the toy makers who need to market a new toy, just tack on some stupid paint scheme like they did in the 90's and call it a day, kids don't give a shit.

Yeah, but if you punched him from the side, he wouldn't see it cause he can't turn his head!

It was Bale's superior bulk in BB, coupled with that enormous neck on the BB suit that made him look intimidating. You don't get that with the TDK suit. I'm all for mobility though, and Batman does move more naturally in the latter. And under light, the TdK suit still looks like armor whereas the BB suit looks obviously like a rubber suit.

The BB cowl is definitely better looking though.
