That's funny since The Incredibles is one of the best super hero movies made. It was what a Fantastic Four movie should have been.

People compare Dark Knight and Avengers because of their comic book origins.

And both are fairly faithful to what their depiction is in the source medium. Nolan's Batman only to certain aspects maybe, but it uses the concepts in the batverse and gives it a grounded feel which is fine, because Bats can lend to that.

"Master Bruce, did I tell you I'm just one week away from retirement? Also, my wife and kids are coming to visit. And I have some Captain America cards."

Why are there idiots that think:

Batman will die

JGL is Azrael/Batman's replacement

I swear some Batfans occupy a world of fever dreams. The main heroes in superhero films never die and Azrael was a fucking joke that will never be put to celluloid. Or Nightwing. Fuck's sake. Please note this isn't directed at anyone specific in this thread at all. Just shit I'm seeing elsewhere.
Yes because Nolan follows conventional and predictable super hero movie tropes

Yes he does. Rachel blowing up and a pointle--oops I am sorry, THEMATICALLY RELEVANT Two-Face don't change that. I am always baffled by people that think these films are actually dark and against the grain. They're more mature than other adaptations but unpredictable? I don't see it.

They are predictable because he has a story to stick too, but the twists (if any) will come from his own alterations to the story - which he presumably has been given permission from DC and WB to do.

But they are much darker against most of the superhero films. But then again, dark in this context is a subjective term.

It's crap, Batman looks so odd. The fire stuff is good but it just looks really weird with Batman superimposed onto it.

Best TDK poster was the Batman made out of cards.

Ahahaha, holy shit. I didn't even realize that Whedon stealth one-week-from-retirement'd us in Avengers. Sneaky bastard.

I've just been re-watching Batman Begins and there's always one scene that bothers me. It's the scene with the woman introducing Ra's al Ghul to Bruce at his birthday party. She doesn't seem to find any of the exchange of dialogue at all strange or weird (ie an incredulous or confused look). It's minor, but it gets to me.
