Project 880.This thread is helping to reveal which Gaffers literally don't know what in the hell they're talking about. Not only did TDK have jokes and one liners, practically every blockbuster does. It's the way Hollywood works.

No, seriously. WB is just trying too hard now. I bet they didn't even plan to put out a crap commercial like that until Avengers did so amazingly well at the box office. Avengers was successful for that stuff, but that is not how any of Nolan's "Batman" films have been made. Might as well get Schumacher back to direct if you want a clown fest.

Yeah the idea is that Cameron coined it 880 because the movie should have catered to anyone between the ages of 8 to 80 years. It's just how blockbusters are written, keeping a wide audience demo in mind.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UXPoQenVQxI
I'm pretty sure "You are not in Kansas anymore" qualifies.![]()

Wait til the Batman+Catwoman Nickelback TV spot, then we'll see who has the last laugh!
Wasn't Alfred always a joke character?

This week of Batman can on;y get better. Monday sucked, Tuesday posters were better and these tv spots are decent.
Its like WB wants to market this movie. About damn time.
We're still two months away dude.

I never found any humor in that Tangerine story.
I wish someone would make a video of that Batmobile trying to get through a drive thru.

AJ is looking up at Alfred wishing she had a Diet Coke.
Right now I'm having trouble believing you were even born when the TDK TV spots were running. They had goofy moments laced throughout them.![]()
"He does that."
<Kids shooting their fingers at cars>
<The Batpod-wall thing and Joker going "Hmm!">
This looks almost exactly like the end shot of TDK trailer #3.

They're totally gonna bone during the credits.

I meant just The Dark Knight, Trailer #3

Oh my god Bruce gets amnesia and forgets about his marriage to Catwoman in the first act of the film.
