No, seriously. WB is just trying too hard now. I bet they didn't even plan to put out a crap commercial like that until Avengers did so amazingly well at the box office. Avengers was successful for that stuff, but that is not how any of Nolan's "Batman" films have been made. Might as well get Schumacher back to direct if you want a clown fest.

So you're what I would sound like if I were more antagonistic. :lol It's a bit terrifying, actually.

Where the hell is that "not sure if serious" gif?

Guys, I think I've got it. "My wife?!" and "Do you remember where you parked?" aren't actually humorous, they meant to be completely serious and inspire nothing but a mild nod.

Yeah the idea is that Cameron coined it 880 because the movie should have catered to anyone between the ages of 8 to 80 years. It's just how blockbusters are written, keeping a wide audience demo in mind.
Ahhh my bad, I thought you were using it as an example of a movie that DIDN'T have jokes in its marketing lol

This week of Batman can on;y get better. Monday sucked, Tuesday posters were better and these tv spots are decent.

Its like WB wants to market this movie. About damn time.

Right now I'm having trouble believing you were even born when the TDK TV spots were running. They had goofy moments laced throughout them.

"He does that."

<Kids shooting their fingers at cars>

<The Batpod-wall thing and Joker going "Hmm!">

Forgot my favorite one

When Bruce decides to take the LAmbo, and Alfred is like "Yeah that's much more subtle"
