Does anybody have a youtube link to when Bats is standing on top of the building, looking over the city skyline as the camera pans around him? The score amps up and it is just so fucking epic. That is when he was officially Batman.

Count me in for the BB group, it's hard sometimes defending the better movie when most of your friends don't agree with you. But I'm staying strong for the cause. Am curious as to what TDKR will add to the mix.

Fuck it. I LOVE the Tumbler chase. I fucking love it. They corner him on a car park roof? He blows the barriers off and shoots off toward the highway. Motherfucker's flying on rooftops.
But I mainly love it for the amping score which crescendo's with Batman yelling 'RAAAACHEL!' like a lunatic as they fly through the waterfall entrance of the Batcave. Then he runs to get the antidote, before GLIDING BACK DOWN like a fucking BAWSS (saving maybe two seconds) when he could easily run.

That scene in the batcave after the chase, Bale also uses his best bat voice (apart from SWEAR FROM ME which still gets me). Subtle, yet still a little growl to it. Perfect
My favorite scene in all the movies and probably my favorite part of the soundtrack. I vividly remember seeing this scene in IMAX and I got insane goosebumps. I knew at this point that I was seeing something special.

I think I've seen Begins at least 5 times in the last month or so. Got it back recently after borrowing it out. The tumbler scene, the soundtrack, the journey Bruce takes, film is amazing.

The tumbler chase gets a lot of shit. A lot of it for the 'He's flying on rooftops!' and 'A black...tank!' cops, combined with the fact that they lose him when he turns his headlights off.
Oh I guess it gets shit on GAF for that? Figures. There's nothing wrong with those little bits of humor. They played well in the theater I saw it in. *shrug*
It's hilarious what people focus their energy on. The entire scene is so bad ass and all people can do is talk about two moments that add up to about 10 seconds of screentime. People just love to dwell on shit they don't like.
Batman Begins and TDK need to be reissued with better film transfers. Make it happen, WB.
A similar moment in TDK rocked me off my seat. When the tumbler crashes through the barrier in the parking lot scene and Crane goes "Not thats more like it". My ears went numb.

I do like both the chases from BB and TDK. I got pumped when the bat pod emerged from the Tumbler - it was fucking sweet.

Like the TDK chase more , but see nothing wrong with the BB chase. They have the same flaws, bad jokes and almost killing tons of people.
