Star Wars is 2/6, so it ain't like the bar is that high.

Is it just me or are the trailers for this movie missing something? I watched the dark knight trailers over and over and was super hyped for that movie. But for this one, I dunno.. I figure it will probably be very good, but the trailers just arent getting me excited for some reason. I feel like it's literally something to do with the way the trailers are put together. They're very slow and don't seem to have any kind of arc or climax.
edit: people saying there was no spoiler in that trailer are wrong. Someone wishing to stay totally spoiler free should avoid it.

if it helps i thought the begins trailers were terrible and avoided seeing the film because of it, when i did see the film it became one of my favourite films of all time. I didnt see much dkr stuff so i cant comment on that.

However, that is another phenomenal trailer and the soundtrack? Phew. Gonna have to get it as I've yet to hear anything short of amazing so far.

I thought that was established fairly early on in older trailers? I can't remember. Or was it just that
Bane captured Bruce but the trailers never let on that he knew Bruce was Batman? But then why capture Bruce randomly? I dunno, I figured Bane knew all along, so I was prepared for it.

That closeup of Batman's face really reminds me of a bit in the Batman AC Strange trailer.
I think it's switched around: "Mr Wayne..." first, then the look of shock in Batman's face as he slowly turns around.....

Well, I had always assumed that this aspect of the previous trailers was only due to
Bane capturing lots of rich people to punish them or something, as part of some kind of 99%ish protest/terrorism

First of all, T1 > T2. Anyone with good taste and a sound mind knows this.

If you know the Bane character from the comics and what his good what we saw couldn't even be considered a 'spoiler'.
In fact it makes what we've seen in other trailers a lot more awesome. As it shows just how ruthless Bane is. Complete domination.
