The Dark Knight Rises Unsafe (?) Hype Thread |5 Spoiled, 2 Of Them Mods!|

As an action film 'The Matrix' is better than T2. :D

Yep. Just look at the Matrix or something.
And we're not even putting something like The Raid into the equation here. There have been plenty of films that have made mincemeat of T2 since its release.

Is this the non-spoiler thread?

What happened to that non-spoiler thread we had? Do people even post in there?

Where the hell is Gordon in this movie?

We've had like 3 or 4 quick shots of him, tops.

Edit:

How could you possibly not consider that line to be a huge spoiler?
Does the average villain know who's underneath the cowl?
I know it's been heavily implied by other released materials, but it's definitely a confirmation.

Sculli it seems like in every thread you are maniacally posting about not spoiling yourself. What are you discussing in these threads if it isn't information about the as yet unreleased movies? Why not just leave the thread to let people discuss and post what they want?

Spoilers for the prologue: http://www.movieplotholes.com/the-dark-knight-rises-prologue.html

Looks like the movie will be brainless, melodramatic flashy fluff if they can fit that much contrived nonsense into just the first 10 minutes.

Brainless? I don't know. Seemed like a pretty bad-ass, intricate plan to me.

Tonnes of people have seen the prologue, and I believe its reception would fall somewhere in the valley of "universal acclaim", so don't worry.

The second point it raises is wrong anyway,
Bane wants it to look like the doctor is on board and that's why he does the transfusion. One passenger in the wreckage surely just points to one of them having killed the 'doctor and then gone down with the plane

People are too eager to rip holes in things nowadays.

I guess there's a spoiler in it, but only if you couldn't put two-and-two together from one of the earlier trailers.

Anyway. That was fucking cool.

Maybe that "Mr. Wayne"-line was added afterwards, and not spoken at all during that scene. The magic with Bane is that they can use any of his lines whenever they want, as we can't see his mouth moving.

So maybe, he says that somewhere else, and he doesn't really know Bruce's identity.

If you had the other half, you'd have the sense not to ruin it for yourself.

If you and Sculli are "Batfans," as you say, there aren't any surprises for you anyway. It's all very predictable, with slight tweaks on what's been seen before either in the comic or in previous Batman movies.

Shh, stop making sense.

I mean, it's not like the movie is going to use one of the base mechanics of the Bane Character. No way they do that.

Comics? Who reads comics? lulz

How is a movie based on a comic any different than the comic? If one is "lulz" then so is the other. The movie is a dumbed-downed version of the comic book.

First you say you're a Batfan. Then you say you don't read the comics. Then you say it's very important for you to not be spoiled by a movie based on a comic that you haven't read but won't ready anyway because comics are "lulz."

I hope you realize how ridiculous you sound.

Bolded isn't true.

1. Lolz at films being "dumbed down" from comics. If anything Nolan has "wisened up" the source.
2. Sculli said that, not me.
3. TDKR isn't explicitly based on any one comic.

It had to happen at some point. Almost all the promo materials show him
carrying Batman's broken cowl.

I would call this the "action" trailer. No plot in there at all...except for one line, that if Solo hears by way of a user and not a commercial will cry about being spoiled.

Is it really hard to grasp not wanting to find out too much about a movie a whole 31 days from release?

One of the first teaser posters was Bane in the background with the cowl broken in the foreground. It's not a big spoiler.

I could be wrong but I think what is trying to be said is
the broken cowl
should have clued people in already that
Bane knows Batman is Bruce Wayne as shown in the Nokia trailer when he says "Mr.Wayne..."

Ah yea, that's true.

*checks what thread we're in*

Hmm....

It is really hard to grasp that there is a NON-spoiler thread. Veidt even posted it on this same page! How many years will it take for you to realize no matter how much you beg and stomp your feet people will just fly into a thread and drop something that you might consider a spoiler.

Here is the non-spoiler thread.
I think people who want to avoid spoilers should be posting in there if they want to avoid spoilers.

It doesn't show anything that would technically spoil shit, but I get your point. At this stage, there really isn't any reason to look for more than they've already given us in the previous trailers.

God I am so torn. I usually consider all commercials and trailers fair game and up to now Nolan has been good in that none of the commercials/trailers ruin the movie's plot. But I do want to avoid it if there any spoilers.

:(

I want to watch it. But I shouldn't.

What is this, December?

What were you trying to prove? That deep down, everybody's as trollish as you?

Honestly it isn't any worse than the other trailers when it comes to spoilers, particularly if you've looked at any of the marketing materials.

Still, if you have any doubt, don't watch it. It's only a month away.

This is what I thought too. It could be him speaking at some other point in the film though
I still think he'd find out Bruce's identity after that point with the whole cowl thing
. They did the dialogue splicing a lot in the Prometheus trailers too.

So is it an actual legitimate trailer? Why the fuck are we avoiding genuine given material then? Surely Nolan wouldn't do spoilery shit..

I just didn't see any hype around this to believe it's an actual trailer. It was just posted randomly, fuck I wanna watch it..

I think the time to Bale out has truly come. See you in a month Bat-GAF.
