I wonder if TDKR is a prequel to this movie.

Cause Joseph Gordon Levitt will always be Cobra Commander to me.

Holy shit, really? I already bought my tix to the midnight IMAX showing there. Might have to persuade my gf to do this. Though we did rent the first two on Blu Ray from my library so we wouldn't have to... She's not good at marathon movie watching.

Yeah I called to make sure of the details and it looks like I'll be buying a couple of tickets. $25 for all 3 movies.

GTFO! $25 for all three? I really need to have that conversation lol. Though it's like the price of one IMAX ticket to see BB and TDK in IMAX before seeing TDKR.

Have you been to that IMAX before? Is it really assigned seating or was that just a movietickets.com jerk around? I bought a ticket for me and my gf and it gave me the option of reserving seats. If that works, do we not have to show up two hours early?

Yeah I've been to that IMAX on numerous occasions as it's my cinema of choice given it's only 15 minutes away from me (Milan) and I even saw The Dark Knight there on IMAX when it opened. Absolutely on the reserved seating too, if you've picked out your seats on movietickets then those seats are yours and damned if anybody tries to sit in them!

I had to ask about that too given each film is listed on the site and then you've got the marathon option so I wasn't sure if your seat would get switched around given the marathon roll into the midnight release for TDKR and sure enough if you purchase the marathon ticket then you keep the same seat through all 3 movies. Heck of deal though for $25 considering full price for IMAX there is around $15-16.
 
I loved all the grounded parts of the final fight, but once they went into the air it just got shitty. Which was weird because that was what excited me the most about the final fight heading into the movie.

I agree. The concept sounded awesome but the execution was just annoying. The best parts about the fight were when they were doing it old school Matrix 1 style. Not some Dragonball Z shit.

Exactly this. My favourite part of the fight is actually when they're inside the building and Neo is taking him apart with kicks that we're watching in silhouettes.
 
Why the fuck didn't all the Agent Smiths do anything, is the real question.

You spent the whole fuckin' movie making everybody in the Matrix Smith, then take on Neo 1v1
 
Baby-face ruined that movie and was the impetuous to make me question the quality of the second/third films. They were not what they could have been. They squandered opportunities with 2/3.

EDIT: AMC is doing a "Matrix weekend" with each movie showing every evening. I plan to only watch the first one and the highway chase of reloaded.

Meh, Neo still lost.

But he pulled something out of his ass to bring peace. Ugh, hated Revolutions, Reloaded has the right kind of bad to make it tolerable.
 
The most annoying thing is how much they retconned the possibilities suggested at the end of the first film. Neo should never have had to kung-fu anybody, because he knows that none of it is real.

They could have at least made the conceit that he has to think about what he's doing, so that one hundred Smith's could literally overload him in terms of what he has to think about in terms of reacting to the environment around him.
