I still think nobody would make a better Riddler than this guy (not even Depp, who's been heavily hyped for the role):

Terrible :lol :lol :lol
As did the looks of almost every major character introduced to the Nolan franchise according to fanboys until more footage came out. If you had Catwoman in the universe she would probably look similar to this which isn't a far cry from her comic looks.

You do realize that's not Cat"woman", right?

I don't follow.

You're defending it as if it's some legitimate pic when it's an obvious joke, talking about how people usually diss Nolan's characters before seeing them in action, and how the actual Catwoman would look similar to a man dressed as Catwoman. Quite odd.

Because the statement I made is true. I'm not defending it I'm stating the obvious. I'm also not pushing an actor who is one dimensional to this point and based upon the only recognizable character he plays has nothing in common with the character you would like him to portray.

That doesn't look like a man at all.

So I saw The Dark Knight again in Imax in a better seat this time. It was AWESOME. I was seriously tearing up a little bit at the end when Gordon is telling him son about Batman

It seriously gave me chills. Also I noticed so many more little touches which tells you what is going to happen. You can tell Ramirez and the Bulloch clone were the dirty cops. Every time something was going to happen it shows a quick shot of Ramirez looking for where it is coming from or a look of guilt about what is about to happen.

That said my only knock on the film is that for all his bullshit about plans the Joker seemed to have the most intricate and well thought out plans of all. Anyone else have a problem with believing that any character could look so far in advance and know that, for instance, which turn off the underground route the police would turn at after miles underground?

Still I was even more blown away by Ledger's performance the 2nd time through, and thematically the film is still absolutely devastating. My friend who I brought, whose first viewing it was, was literally sweating in a cold theater because it was so intense. I am looking forward to a third viewing and owning this film on DVD.

anyone have the whole end monologue?

i just loved how it was intertwined with the speech he was giving about dent and he changed the "need" and "deserved" around.

That's not really a plot hole, it's just more proof that the Joker is a pathological liar.

The movie was over and me and my friends weren't talking for at least 3 minutes. We all were that amazed.... Heath Ledger.... wow... what a movie!

They need to ditch the shitty growling voice if they do. The man has all the technology in the world but using a voice changing device never occurred to the him...

He's using one in TDK....

Saw the movie yesterday and DAMN I was completely blown away.

The scene where the Joker walks out of the hospital and half of the hospital is about to blow and he turns around with a "WTF, that was all?-face and starts to twiddle with the detonator and suddenly the whole hospital blows up. That was just great. :lol :lol

I'm so sad that Ledger can't reprise his role as the Joker. I want to see more of him. :(

TDK fell to 4th this weekend, but still brought its total to $489M after 6 weeks. Its going to do $500M is 7 weeks, which is phenomenal.

Now we gotta find all those "it won't hit $500m" posts in preparation.

Went to see it for the third time yesterday evening, and it was awesome all over again. The little part where the camera zooms in on the so called batman suspects, a picture of Bigfoot and Abraham Lincoln. So funny :lol

Saw The Dark Knight again for the 3rd time but this time in an IMAX theater and man it was worth it. Eventhough I know everything that will happen I still enjoyed myself and the theater was awesome. My friend also say it again, it was his second time and he also enjoyed himself, IMAX is truely an experience.

The theater after all of this time is was still packed, everyone had to push in, it was crazy. Its amazing this movie has such a long theater life.
