"I am getting a bit tired and I need to pee soon." damn you Matrix!

:lol

My 2 questions didn't get addressed, I asked why the Joker put a non-lethal green smoke grenade in Fichtner's character's mouth and how slicing one half of Michael Jai White's mouth killed his character

I can answer that. Because the excessive violence wouldn't be necessary, especially in a PG-13 film.

Nolan is at the WB lot? Go stalk him, Gary Whitta!

I'm going to ask him to direct the next Superman!

There are some questions that didn't show up for me even though I saw the answer. Seems like people are having different experiences.

Q: How involved do you get in the overall sound design? Do you have certain sounds in mind?
A: I get very involved with the sound of my films. It is an area of film making that i very much enjoy.

He'd love to do a horror movie but "it would have to be the right script."

On why Bruce didn't object when Dent claimed to be Batman: Bruce immediately understand what Dent is doing - trying to flush out the Joker.

Q: How long were you in Post Production
A: 9 months

Q: Did the Batmobile really need to be destroyed?
A: We intended to do so in Batman Begins but fell in love with the vehicle and could not bring ourselves to do it. This time we were determined to follow through on our threat.

"How did you flip the 18 wheeler?"

Nolan - Fuck off and watch the extras.

I wish :(

Why doesnt batman hit the joker with his bat-pod?

jesus christ :|

Didn't notice the rack shot between the helicopter and the cables as joker says "rack them up" - just coincidence apparently.

Prefers to work without storyboards, and hires story boarders when they are necessary. Does have his own doodles but doesn't want to show them to anybody.

On the interrogation scene as an allusion to current debates over torture: Batman provides the perfect character for exploring such avenues, and the scene was always intended to explore.

Q: Why is there a potato peeler on the Joker's person?
A: Heath felt this would be a suitably gruesome and amusing punch line out the parade of knives being drawn from The Joker's pockets. I don't like to think what the joker would do with a potato peeler.

Says 42 Entertainment did a great job on the advertising/viral marketing.

Didn't film any Two Face scenes in IMAX since the effect would be too hard to achieve at such a high resolution.

On the use of blue used in the film as a potential metaphor: Meant to represent some degree of Bruce's emotional state.

Q: Good casting on Anthony Michael Hall. He is an excellent actor
A: Hall was a pleasure to work with. He is a very talented actor. Thanks for your question Anthony Michael Hall's mother.

Heath only needed one take to do the slide down the poile of money. Shot with 2 cameras - would have taken too long to reset all of the money bundles.

Favorite thing about filming TDK: Working with a talented cast and crew that I had worked with on Begins.

Q: Do you feel the heavy use of CGI has damaged the quality of cinamea and was it a factor in your mind during filming
A: I think much of cinema changes in waves. CG is a useful tool but if overused can detract from the reality of the film and distract from the story telling.
