I really didn't care or give a shit about his inclusion, he wasn't the best part of the movie and he also wasn't the worst.

I thought he was stupid the first time I saw the movie, the second time he didn't really bother me. On subsequent viewings (like when it was playing on HBO around the clock) he has become increasingly more grating. Awful attempt at comedic relief.
 
Now if they could replace Bale as Batman for the third movie I would be ecstatic. I used to think Bale was a great actor, but when he was he weakest link in Dark Knight it made me change my mind.

I loved Bale in American Psycho and Reign of Fire, but he has been shitty as of late. His performance in T4 wasn't anything special either.
 
We need Robin in the third movie. If he is done seriously could be wicked awesome.

Does anyone else think it's possible that Gordons son will end up being Robin? He fits the profile, maybe a tad too young but hey, Bruce is also pretty young compared to the older movies with Robin in them.

I'm sure he would have been had The Graysons been approved.

I can see it now: Eddy Nigma would be one of DJ Graysons' bestest friends in the whole wide world. and they would share laughs and there would be a George Lucas-esque foreshadowing of Nigma's transformation into the Riddler in every single scene he is.

Inception doesnt have Bale, so that takes most of the fun out of trolling on it. Also, it has DiCaprio, so that makes me look forward to it.

But I guess it DOES have all the Nolan fanboys who have annointed Saint Christopher as their lord and savior rooting for it, so I suppose I could work up the desire to rag on it some.

Jack Nicholson, so everything comes into a full circle. Age Bale via makeup, or even better, get Clint Eastwood to interpretate Batman and there you have the ultimate adaptation of "The Dark knight returns".

Pretty sure that was a rumor. Although he does look as sophisticated as Liam Neeson.

Not only that, but he can also pull off playing a mass-murdering psychopath superbly. (Bill the Butcher, Daniel Plainview)

Whomever the villain is, he (or she?) has to be some terrific actor. They have to simultaneously be everything the Joker wasn't, while having a raw, magnetic presence on screen. It's a tall order, to be sure.

Give it to Casey Affleck. That guy deserves a challenge after his performance in Jesse James.

That is just interview junket fodder. The movie could have Bat-Mite and Kato and as long as he is getting paid will do it.
 
What's the general opinion on Batman Returns? I saw on cable the other day and never realized how dull it was. Batman setting guys on fire and blowing up dudes with bombs was so odd. :lol I loved Catwoman though. I hope they have her in B3.
 
Daniel Day Lewis would be awesome, as long as he steers far, far way from his There Will Be Blood/Gangs of New York style of character. Honestly, he'd be the only one I'd ever trust to take a stab at The Joker character. Would be interesting, for sure.
 
I watched both Begins and Dark Knight recnetly, and man what good movies they are...I never understood the Katie Holmes hate...I really don't she seemed to play the part pretty well, and I would have loved to see how she would have been in the sequel.

I HATED Begins and always compared it with the other Batmana movie, but I've since learn to let that go, and Begins is a pretty solid movie I must say.

I really wonder where they're gong to go for part three...
