You did what, buy the Gold edition? No. I did.
Depends, the first year dlc is free,so buying that edition from what I know you will get access to the dlc a week earlier, and when you reach the end game you will have all 3 specializations unlocked, you will not do different things to unlock them, some small bonuses when they do things like when they added the new stronghold and the invasions missions, I got more keys to unlock chests for items,I guess this is how they will reward in the future players who bought that version, giving them some extra things. Its up to you if you really what to spend that money or not.Normally I would say its too much, but in the end do what you feel it will make you happy .I find myself very tempted to buy the Gold edition. $100.

Yes. I bought the Gold and realized after the fact the DLC was free. The gold was simply early access and vanity items in a nutshell. But in the end it's up to you.You did what, buy the Gold edition?

Also, no matchmaking for the Raid. Awesome...
An Ubisoft employee tweeted it.What? I missed this. When did that happen?

RIP ever doing the raid. Had they released this around launch it would've not been an issue for me, but now all my friends have moved on.
Holy shitSo, lets take a look at this patch.
- Armor is STILL utterly useless. Heroic enemies will one shot all of it if you have 0 or 200k. Cool.
- Revive Hive STILL does not work reliably.
- Skills will STILL go on immediate cooldown right after use while never actually being used.
- Special ammo STILL barely spawns. I'm lucky to get one grenade through an entire mission.
- Majority of the skills are STILL useless as are mods.
These are all problems that have existed since I quit playing over a month ago (some of which have supposedly been "fixed" multiple times).
Also, no matchmaking for the Raid. Awesome...
Ugh.
Edit: As for raid matchmaking, I understand that the game has matchmaking for literally everything and that's why people expected the raid to have it as well... but anyone who has raided in ANY other game knows that PUGing raids with no assurance of voice communication and coordination is just asking for a bad time.
That's fine, but the player should still have the option. Maybe you get into a raid with 2-3 other people who ARE good and who DO communicate. Then you add them. Then next time you queue, you've already got a group of 3-4 people and you find another person who is good. So on and so forth. Basically building a solid group to play with.Edit: As for raid matchmaking, I understand that the game has matchmaking for literally everything and that's why people expected the raid to have it as well... but anyone who has raided in ANY other game knows that PUGing raids with no assurance of voice communication and coordination is just asking for a bad time.
Played a bit last night in the DZ. Indeed the game is dropping a lot more contaminated items and having a 10 place pouch is great. But it's still dropping <500 GS stuff... and purple items for clearing landmarks, which sucks.
Enemies do less damage imo, but it's not a huge difference. You still need to be very careful. No face tanking at all.
Hopefully, Massive will go the WoW route and open it up as gear score goes up.
I'm gonna try to get something done with DivisionGAF PC. Maybe we can pull the PC players on GAF who didn't join the GAF clan or fill via friends.
DivisionGAF activity is not great, though. It's the nature of GAF. But I think if it doesn't work out, I may pass the torch and move on to a more focused clan.
I don't get the GS either. I'm actually wearing 498, but I'm of course 500+ in inventory and stash.
Tonight, I may try running 500 on my person to see if that makes a difference. It doesn't feel different to me.
Whats the gaf clan called? I'll gladly join. Is it "DivisionGAF"?
Did you get invite?Snakeyes646 on xbox for any raids
What a big disappointment. I have really enjoyed this game so far. This makes me think it's almost pointless for me to continue as I only play with one friend.Confirmed in today's State of the Game. No matchmaking in the raid. As expected, it's for a stupid reason.
"We decided to not include matchmaking as we don't think this will create a good gameplay experience for random groups. The Raid will test your ability to communicate well, have a good build setup and will require great teamwork to beat encounters. "
So why even give people a chance to matchmake? Obviously just remove the option.
Dumb.
