There's plenty of Player VS AI in the Darkzone too. One of the Darkzone Loot Chests I found was guarded by a bunch of level 8 AI with turrets and shit, and at least one of the extraction zones can randomly spawn a bunch of AI.

Character level 8 puts you into the higher level DZ.
You'll need to run the hospital mission on Hard mode once or twice to get to level 8.
Sorry, I meant that the PvP portion of the game is only in the DZ and that PvE is in both.
Nah, I got there just by playing Side Missions and the Hospital mission once.

Not playing the beta but have a question.
Is there different job classes or specialazation in this game?

I have not encountered anyone leaving the team to turn on you, it is more a group is griefing others.

Yeah. Happened to me a couple of times last night. If it makes it to release it will fuck up dark zone.
Best loot can be purchased using DZ money, can only get DZ money in the DZ.

For the beta at least that's where the best stuff is. I don't know if that will hold true for the final release but I'm hoping the good drops will be balanced between DZ and other content.
No, but your experience will depend on who's in the DZ at your time of entry!

You can easily build groups inside. Just follow someone and look what they are doing without attacking, then invite. Almost everyone will accept.

Define "assholes". You mean hostile players? Cause if you don't got them everyone is just running killing NPCs and looting. Might as well be playing PvE at that point.

Just had my favorite moment in the beta. 2 guys went rouge. Everyone else on the map packed up and hunted these guys into a dead end and slaughtered them. Lmfao.
Right. "Assholes" make the dark zone the dark zone. Otherwise you'd just be running around holding hands with your other care bear friends while you shoot at agonizingly boring cardboard cutouts of thugs.

More pictures because this game does look amazing more times then not. Even if buildings in this game seem to be using some tessellation but not enough to push it (which is disappointing) and the textures are not as eye popping.
But at least to me it looks almost photo real sometimes. Although if Massive or Ubi allowed for the snow engine to truly embrace its advanced natural lighting shaders, textures and shadows, like it has shown off before. I'm sure it would look pretty darn amazing.
Pretty much the highest setting, 16x, Sharpen 90, CA off & on.
Wish i could do 4k.
Can't wait to play the full game.

No, but I believe the FAL is 3-burst.
so enemy names are displayed as red text while friendlies are white text?...but you can't see the name until you're fairly close...
There are some guns that have burst fire but it's not selectable although I could see later weapons having a fire selector.
ugh, These randoms I get matched up with in Dark zone, no communication and they stand around all the time
I don't matchmake in DZ, I just run around talking to players until I find a dude with a mic that wants to team up.
Rogue Agents appear on your map as a red Rogue Icon, if other players aren't on your map they are non-Rogue.
So my dark zone experience consists of:
- Being shot by a group of 5 as soon as I exit the parking lot contamination zone.
- Being shot while on the way to extraction
- Being shot at the extraction zone by campers
- Being shot by someone who thought I was hostile while slowly walking towards him
- Finally I was able to extract an SMG and armor
I'm not too sure I love it to be honest. The gunplay still doesn't feel satisfying, and the story looks it will be awful. Same for characters and dialogue.
The only thing I really love is the city design and detail, it's absolutely insane.
I think I may just get it down the line if the expansions are really good.

Yes. I am role-playing a good guy. And these are assholes in the eyes of the good guy, ganking on player with a group of 4.
I know, this mode is for people like that and I am not really bitching about it ^^.

I think somebody figured out how to do it on purpose and is spreading the details. Be a good test of how quick Ubisoft is going to respond to exploits. If this doesn't get fixed quickly then it is probably a sign that release will be full of cheaters/hackers/exploiters.
I've camped extraction points from an elevated position with a marksman rifle. Thing is I wasn't camping to hunt people extracting loot, I was camping to hunt people going rogue. Somebody thinks they killed a guy and are standing there looking at what he dropped and you pop them in the head.

I have been trying to be be nice and kind, but there have been at least 5 times in a row where I am fighting an AI/Rogue and one of my teammates gets in front of me and I shoot him. Then I get branded as a rogue and, while having my hands up in Surrender, they all kill me.
I can HEAL you if I accidentally hurt you. People are so mean
