The Elder Scrolls Online Tamriel Unlimited - |OT| - Console edition

Fuck this game. I am fucking done. Even with guilds what's the point? THERE IS NO FUCKING SOCIAL GROUPING. Wanna join a group? wait 2-3 hours in queue only to join a group of people afking, and then get shit stomped by the bosses. Fuck this game, I'm out.

This is what many players don't get that ESO does better than others. What SG-17 is doing is getting all the benefits of heavy armor and using his characters passives to make up for anything lost.

So many think that you must be locked into a certain armor class but this game has the flexibility to mix and match armor to maximize your toons effectiveness.

This. it's a shame ZMO has bungled this game so hard. This game could be a really amazing MMO but, the developers are bone headed.

I know this is the console thread, but for all the people playing on the PC who are lurking in here, there's a new guild for the NA server. Name is Neogaf NA. If you want to join just pm me here with your character name or @loginid and I'll add you.

The game is the same regardless whether it's console or not yes? So I have a question - I just saved the docks. From what I heard it should give me a quest pointer back to Stonefalls but that didn't happen - the Argonian centurion just rewarded me for killing off the Convenant invasion in the docks but not a quest point to report back.

I would chalk this up under personal experience man. The two guilds I belong to on the Aldmeri Dominion side are very active and spread out well level wise that there are always people jumping around between groups for dungeons and stuff.

What faction are you on?

Go to Davon's Watch and look for someone named Holgunn. Even if the game didn't give you a new quest marker he should have one above his head when you look there.

I heard you should hold off the Mage and fighter guild quests because it scales and you will get better stuff.

Should I? Or should I do them? I am only level 14.

What most players do is use 5 pieces of l/m/h and 1 piece each of the other 2 to lvl those up

I would hold off on them to a point. If you're staying at level or over-leveling, then the scaled XP and items will probably be more beneficial later on.

I know some people hold off on them to VR1 or later, but the gear isn't that good, and it seems like a huge pain in the ass just for the extra XP for Champion Points.

Do any of the harvest-relying crafting have a skill that boosts how much you harvest on a resource node?

Enchanting has a passive that increases the likelihood of getting all three stones.

Alchemy and Provisioning have passives that increase output.

Plentiful Harvest is a Champion passive that gives you a 10% chance to double the yield from a resource node.

Ah none for smithing or woodworking? I guess this means I have to go Champ.

Nope, Holgunn still doesn't recognize me. I also can't find Captain Rana after the defend the docks quest.

Damn its crazy how fast you can level up if you aren't dicking around with not questing. I was going around stealing stuff and making some money, but this morning I wanted to get some levels. I went out and got like 3 levels in 2 or 3 hours from regular quests.

I went from 3 to 8 on a second character in about 4 or 5 hours, but getting my inventory full and having to go back to the bank waisted a lot of my time. I don't like to destroy items. Lol

Had you already done any quests in Davon's Watch? If you already did the one where you get a skull from a tomb for someone then the quest for Holgunn won't be there. You just keep going with whatever was after getting the skull.

I have gained so many levels while playing in Cyrodiil. Level 43 and I'm in Alak'r Desert in the PvE content.

You guys got any guide to recommend ? I'm not really looking for maps that show me where everything is. I'm more interested in learning more about the game mechanics, crafting and character progression.

So I bid on two traders in Sentinel
Seeing how we are a few weeks I to the game guilds are getting a lot more money to use on bidding I had to put down 70k...if it gets outbid... Well we will still have 70k at least

make sure to grab those quests from the bulletin boards when you get to Cyrodiil, you'll complete them while PvPing with a group.

How much faster it then normal leveling with quest outside PvP? PvE questing feels extremely slow compared to many MMO's.

Hey guys, thinking of picking up this game for the XB1. I have a couple of a questions:

Is ESO solo friendly?

I'm a fan of the ES series (played every game except Daggerfall & Oblivion) Which is the reason why I'm picking up this game. However, I didn't enjoy Wow. How much of a WoW is ESO?

Very solo friendly
Also depends on what you didn't like in WoW
