Did you pick a wood elf or whatever that tiny person class is, I did at first and had to delete it right away, talking to people's crotches and ish is not cool

My friend did exactly that, now he's a tiny wood elf next to my and my other friends tall nords. We call him tiny tim now and constantly make jokes at him, good times.

So one of the early quests on EB side, Crossroads:

I chose the docks, finish it but never got a quest to continue. Figured I'd go to the fort and see what happened there, and it seems the game thinks I saved both? NPC's at the fort say that my choice must've been hard and may the gods watch over Rana at the docks.

So what gives? Bugged? Cause I should be getting a quest to go to Davon's watch right ?

Edit: Yeah phasing seems mighty bugged.

Aera Earth-Turner is mourning over Denskar and Littrek, wwho are standing alive and well 10 feet in front of her.

I'm a redguard too. I am like 3/4ths all the way on the height scale. I was trying to be modest but yeah, compared to my nord and high elf friends, I'm a little short. I don't care though. Not gonna restart over it.
Yeah just max out the height scale on another red guard and it did not make much difference.

I dont know about yall but I been buying weapons and armors with traits that I dont have from guild traders.

I research the traits so i can put those traits on my items and some of those rare crafting benches requires that items have certain number of traits unlocked to craft them.

I've not had much time to play yet but I'll be on later, couple of questions:

Do I have to be 10 to join a guild?

How do I get eso plus?

What level do you have to be for a mount?

Can I get by without bothering with crafting? I'm more fond of gathering in mmos

You can join at any level, you need to be 10 to make one though.

You pay for it via the store.

There is no required level for a mount, just money, the cheapest starts at 10k.

I imagine you can probably get through the general main quests without crafting, end game it is most likely a necessity.

Anyone knows where you can steal some good stuff for the sorcerer in the starting areas in Daggerfall?

game is good stuff when it isn't getting bog down by lag. I need my floating text and numbers, though, hope Zenimax Online patches that in.

I'm having such a blast with this game. Went from 10-16 today and time just flew by. I love the weapon switching option at 15 To keep things fresh.

It's pretty easy to solo most quests but hoping to be able to group up with some guildies over the next few days.

Why does he wear the mask!?
Been playing this with a friend, and man alive is questing together frustrating. Doing the same quest together is a constant balancing act, as sometimes we both need to complete an objective, sometimes one person will trigger it for both, etc. It's the worst. I don't understand why they can't make it so the leader of the party just takes over what quests are being handled, and have quest progression sync between the whole group.

Also, I HATE how hard it is to discern people in the environment. There are incredibly few visual distinctions in the UI between party member, NPC, and enemy. Why couldn't they just change the color of their name or health bar when you look at them?
Party member - blue health bar
NPC - green health bar
Enemy - red health bar

Boom. Just made the game infinitely less frustrating.

Is it just me or is this game not pretty?

It has fleeting moments of good art showing up, but it's pretty ugly. It just feels sparse, especially compared to FFXIV which feels lush as hell. If this game had a "foliage density" slider, I feel like it would be at the absolute lowest setting.

2nd one, its there in the options menu, exactly as you describe. Just display healthbars.

I agree on the first point. Needs sorted. Sours the experience.

This is available to rent via redbox (finally!!! current gen games!!!)

Does it have a one time activation code in it I'll need to play or can I just grab this disc and go? PS4 version if it matters.

edit: ah nevermind, missed the part about a 16gb patch.

9/10 NeoGAFfers don't understand statistics. The other 3/10 don't care.
Can't login to EU servers here aswell, NA server is working fine.

I'm assuming later in the game a mount will become very important?

Maybe not unless you get tired of walking, one place I felt a horse would be beneficial was Cyrodill for pvp because the place is huge and everything is so far from each other. But at the same time you get a lot more stamina when not in combat in Cyrodill so you can keep running for quite a while.

I'm surprised by how much I'm enjoying the game, wasn't expecting that.

That said, what do you think are the chances they'll introduce paid for server transfer between PS4/XB1/PC? I imagine it's possible on a technical level given that they were able to do so for free earlier in the year for PC players switching to consoles. I want the option to switch from XB1 to PC when the population begins to dwindle.
