Thats what i was saying. Like all my shit was being bought. Id put a few more items in there and like a few hours later its all gone. Its at the point that i dont have anything else to sell now.

Man, i selected a really good spot for the guild trader. Its a high traffic area.

I was expecting people to ocassionly buy items but not at the rate thats its going. I made over 10k thus far.

I gotta make sure we keep this trader.

It seems to be a great spot, since that town seems to have the crafting area and bank so close. Lot of higher level people use it as a home base because of that.

Alright let me just finish this quest really quick and then I'll invite you to a group and head over to the altar.
So what had happened was, there was a quest on the shrine I had to pick up, I would have never of noticed that if that pack of money hungry wolves were not blocking it originally

Riddle me this..

A man breaks into a house to loot the place
And the owners are still inside

How do I steal things with out getting caught?

Wish there was a way to just... Put them to sleep

They always pace or move around, just wait for that right moment. You've got to watch them for a bit first so it's usually not worth it in my opinion.

They pace around, see me skulking in the corner and get pissed.

If I'm not flat lined hidden, I'm not truly hidden right?

I tried to stealth/steal before becoming unstealthed but that does not work at all

As long as it says hidden under the eye even it's a bit opened you'll be fine. I steal when it's like that all the time and don't get caught.

When you are stealing from the boats in daggerfall, and other people are running around also, how does it affect your treasure hunting? Do they take the treasure or does it not change what you can loot?

As far as I can tell each players seem to have their own separate containers cause sometimes I'll go into the rooms of the ships as other players are leaving and I still find treasure and sometimes recipes and on rare occasions even motifs.

After being screwed around with a lot lately, I'm going to ask you guys for a WW or Vamp bite.

I am on Ebonheart EU, if anyone can find the kindness within to rip my throat to shreds and bequeath unto me the sacred gift of undeath or wolfishness, I will be forever grateful.

If I receive this gift, after tearing my gf's neck open, I will turn anyone else on GAF EU for free.

What is so special about the werewolf that people are even willing to pay money for it? Doesn't sound that appealing to me.

Passives are decent, stamina regen, etc.

Trophy related too, so theres that.

People are spawn camping, so when the werewolves and vampires actually spawn, people just kill them so they can charge you to be bitten.

I thought that too, but sometimes I follow someone in a ship and everything is "empty." This is why I am confused.

Also, do people have a character just for crafting? I was thinking of doing that.

Hahaha yeah, fucked up thing is, I will talk, if someone else is like 'hey guys what's up' but until then I'm kind of just lurking lol
Same here. But only in guild chat. Area chat is probably the worst thing ever. It's like a noisy cafeteria in most of the big cities.

Really? OK cool I only steal when the eye is completely closed, I tried slightly opened and a guard confiscated all my things

Any pros/cons I should know about choosing between the console and PC versions? Both seem to be the same price. (I have a nice PC but don't mind playing on console)

Is anyone preferring the console controls/UI over PC? Thanks.

I always prefer Gamepad controls over M+K so I went console for this game. They say they are patching the pad controls into the PC release but who knows how long that will actually take so I just went with the console version instead of waiting. No regrets.

Hey guys, I'm training my main character to be a master crafter in all styles for our guild and be able to craft what ever the guild members want for free.(you provide the materials though)

I have a lot of traits unlocked to be able to craft a lot of those set armor pieces. I think I've found almost all the sets too. and many of them I can now craft.

Can craft many items up to level 50, some even level VR5.
Provision is maxed out.
Blacksmith, clothing, alchemy, all over level 30.

I plan on turning my main character into purely a crafting guy for the guild, like have him retire adventuring and take up a life of crafting. lol.

If yall need some stuff crafted, whether it's enchantments, alchemy, armor, weapons, sets, gear with traits, all that stuff. Let me know and I'll see if it's something I can make.

It's all free like I said, if you got the materials to make them. but only to guild members. But if I have to use my own materials, ima have to charge you though.

If you guys got gear that you dont want, place it in the guild bank, I can use it to further increase my skills to be able to craft better and higher level stuff.

I'll let you know what materials are needed if its something I can craft though. Just shoot me a in-game mail, PSN message or post what you want in this thread.

Can any full guild member invite other players to the guild, or only officers?

My wife doesn't post on GAF but she doesn't have any other guild to join.

Can anyone explain why I'm constantly 2-3 levels below the quests I'm doing? I've done EVERYTHING, every little quest I could find so far, did the full tutorial quest, did all of Stonefalls. Now I'm on the second part of the Deshaan quests, and just dinged 20 (while doing level 19-21 quests), and now I'm headed to areas that are level 23. Am I missing something major or is the game really XP starved?

Edit: It's been like this since the tutorial, so it's not something recent, every time I'm getting close to being at level with the quests they jump 2-3 levels. I'm a subscriber as well so 10% XP boost, geez, that'd mean I'd be 2 levels below what I am now without it.

I think it's supposed to be that way.

No, only Officers can invite people to the guild. Post your wife's PSN ID or PM me it and i'll add her myself.

We don't want strangers joining the guild. I don't mind family members or friends of gaf members joining.

But we dont wanna have members inviting some random dude they just met in a dungeon or something.

Dont need them leeching items, and shit from the guild and taking advantage of our guild resources.

It's happened in the past and it came happen again.

Really? cause it really makes it annoying with the difficulty, with huge 3 level steps, instead of gradual increases, and quest rewards being 2-3 levels above me makes it even harder to actually "even out" the playing field.

Have you ran any of the dungeons? Completing the quests inside gives a lot of experience, along with some nice loot.

Only played solo, so no dungeons yet. Guess I'll have to start doing that then.

Edit: I must be doing something wrong though, as I'm seeing level 17-19 characters running around where I am tearing shit apart.

There is over a 100 Gaf members in the ps4 USA Daggerfall clan

Not sure about EU #s or how many people are in Xbox clans

We were at 49 when I last checked, you'd think there would be quite a few more EU players on here though. I have about 65-70 names on an excel document of players that wanted to be invited before the game came out and those that posted after. So there's quite a number that have accounts and didn't accept the invite, a couple have left too, which is odd considering you can be in 5 Guilds and you can pretty much ignore them if you want to when a member.

its the opposite for me, im usually over leveled. But in this game, quest doesn't seem to give you much EXP, so I skip all quest that doesnt give me a skill point. Most of my exp comes from simply killing stuff.

I see many randoms running past enemies and avoiding combat with them. Little do they know, thats exp they leaving on the table. I always fight an enemy in my way.

Is there a way to tell in-game which quests will give you a skillpoint and which just give you loot/gold?

Nope, i use a guide to tell me that. But those quest are whats called REGIONAL quest. they're those quest that all tie in to one another, having you make your way from one side of the area to the next, and at the end of that trail, is a skillpoint. In some cases, multiple skill points.

Those skill quest also tie each region to one another.
These are the "good" quest. These aint the, collect three items, turn in and done type of quest.
Those are the, "oh shit, zombies have taken over the entire town, help me solve this issue" or "this person deserves to die or live" moral choice type of quest.

But on another note, i made a few grand making this set for a couple randoms i was speaking with.
This picture is just an example of the set im talking about.
armor_of_the_seducer.jpg

combine this set with your brenton and some jewelry that further reduces spell cost, you gonna be casting for DAYS

how can I buy a guild tabbard?

I think someone needs to design it and then put it on sale on the Guild's Store iirc.

apparently these are the reqs

Requirements:
You have to be the guild master to make the tabard.
You need 5000 gold in the guild bank
You need 2000 gold to buy your own copy of the tabard

Do you get more XP/Rewards doing the main quest in this, i'm not far off level 11 and i've not really done a lot of the main quest, i've done a fair few fighters guild quests and some mage guild quests, i've got about 3000 gold at the moment (without stealing!) I just feel like my gear is a bit rubbish but I don't seem to be finding much anywhere?

I don't know why. I've maxed my werewolf skill tree and it's really not that great. The best thing about it is the silly running animation.
